"that's *******."
"that's so gay."
"all muslims are terrorists."
"women aren't as smart as men."
these labels aren't true,
we have defeated the stereotypes.

with each word that you speak to me
i am blindsided with a false reality
that there is still and us and we never ceased to be
but then i am reminded that those words that drip from the lips i once kissed
are from a platonic tongue that i do not want to know just yet
i’m still clinging onto a dialectic of romance that had kissed after each syllable and made my heart melt with each phrase
this change in language i cannot accept and it hurts too much to be exposed

If I speak my mind
I unleash my inner thoughts
You must promise not to get angry

If I do not
I cease to be myself
You are content

If I speak up
I unleash the demons that whisper to our thoughts
You must learn to silent yours

If I do not
I cease to understand you
You fail to connect my mind
(now read it bottom-up/replace ‘you’ with ‘I’)

I basked in the light
Of the present moments sight
But all of a sudden
Your words triggered a bitter memory
And now I want to visit an infirmary.

But oh wait this can’t be bandaged to heal
For it is a resurface from a wreckage.
It crawls from the breakage
With a clinging message
that causes landslides
and scrapes my insides.

My thoughts collide
as my emotions become tide.
My lips become sealed
As I no longer want to speak.

But then I’ll lose my mystique
And become invisible;
Vincible
In the hands of my shadowy past.

I'm learning about life in a bubble.
I'm learning to use words but not speak.
So when I talk it sounds rehearsed or fake,
Until I don't even know who I am or how I arrived here;
but I look and dress and act like all the figures around me.
Am I part of this?
Is this really who I’ve decided to be?

A wise person once said

Patience is not measured by your ability to wait. But by your actions and your behavior while you wait-

How great is your paitence to wait for the fruit of your tree to become ripe?

In this day and age people say they have patience but cant wait 5 minutes to hear back from someone.

In todays society theres a demand to get everything now but how great is your patience?

Are you willing to wait a year for success? Let alone a few weeks.

And as the quote says above how will you be waiting?

Will you be waiting patiently? Or will the thoughts and fears that poison your mind saying what if it doesnt work out? Will you walk away?

Patience greatest enemy is that cursed two words. "What if".

But "what if things do work out" and everything falls according to plan and the stars align did your patience follow through?

See i can say all i want about patience but the true meaning is no words at all. Just silence. And peace.

How great is your patience.
How great IS your patience?

Just tell them I died a famous poet
An architect of the ******
A designer of catastrophe

Tell them I fell asleep
And never woke up
Because the words I wrote
Were never enough

What right do I have to hurt?
Must I lock up my feelings and abstain
What right do I have to say out loud
That I'm in so much P A I N

When a breakup happens, what do you do?
You jump on to the latest gossip
Who dumped who, and who shed tears and cried
And you choose a side along with that too

One side receives pity and comfort
Support for what their going through
The other is hated by all who hear the story
But little do they know the complete truth

Snickers, insults and glares line the halls
its like everybody is watching you
You haven't seen the person in weeks
But still they are all especially rude

Once you make a choice to leave
You no longer get to play the "victim"
A villain who shattered another heart
Is not allowed to feel afflicted

What right do I have to feel upset
As the other hates me, rightfully so
What right do I have to cry myself to sleep
As my friends watch as if this is a game show

What right do I have to want to forget
To not want to hear of that person
Nobody will believe or hear the reasons
They won't look beyond the surface

But I'm not entitled to that right
The right to speak these feelings aloud
So I'll plaster on this cheerful smile
Let's just hope I don't breakdown.
What right do I have?

Handle your words with caution
Your impressions with care
Because words can impress
And compress the impressionable
Like metors on the surface of self
You may never know
The value, the worth
Or the cost of such words
On another persons earth
Though I do believe in tough love. I'm also a follower of honesty and a fan of kindness whenever possible.

Hang up and regret
Not saying goodbye. We might
Never speak again.
You never know
