Sweet is Your creation
Sweeter still art Thou

Grace is every breath
Blessed still
Is the breath
Which
Intertwined with Your name
Holds in that moment
Infinity

Residing in Your name
You expand to fill my being

Every cell dances
And love pours out
To all creation

Filling this vastness
with light
Blue as Your Feet
Just a feeling when chanting the holy names of God.

This hallowed ground we stand on
was built on lies,
and I can’t pretend I don’t see it shaking.

There was more to me,
and more to you.

This was a gift,
a blessing to be treasured;
now all we’re digging for is rust.

I thought there was more to you,
but you’re just a plane jane,
wrapped in gold.

Should’ve know these lumps held lies,
but I pretended these holes weren’t made by bullets,
you unleashed.

My sacred love,
is now resting in its grave
as you carve out one more hole,
for me.
love can die so quickly, be taken for granted: when it should be treasured.

I offered my heart to the hands of the world
A mendicant to love’s holy shrine
But my world took a human form
the arms wrapped around him are mine

How to enter
the magnificence
of this moment?

i know only one way
A single ray
into my heart
Your name
This breath
Intertwine
In eternity
All existence
awakens
now
as a tear drop
of pure love

We make up our stories
Our logic and rationalizations
For what happened
That shouldn't have
And
For what didn't happen
That should have

We say
God is benevelont
The universe is your friend
Don't worry
All is well and always has been

Yes, these are good stories
And maybe they are true

But what can i tell my tears?
The arise from a deep well
within
my heart
The well of tears

They cry as they wait
For the moment and day
When this friendly universe
Makes up its own mind
To bless my clouded eyes
with the vision
of Thine Feet

Blue Feet, Bamboo flute
My life, my love
My refuge eternal

Born of Earth
To return to ashes
In the lightening span
We call this life

I pray
My Master Divine
To make this little light
I call my life
Your own song

Bless the last note
To fall
As dust
At Your Lotus Feet

Before I wake by morning light
I asked that I will dream tonight.
Blessed be our sacred eye
Show me truth and never lies.
For what my realm of sleep reflects
When I awake, I'll recollect.
Something I recite before I sleep, while using mugwort under my pillow
Swami
Will you come tonight?
the gold moon hangs
full and low
a lantern beaming between
dark pine branches

I wait with a gardenia blossom
in my hand and the fragrance
of night blooming jasmine
in my hair

O Lotus eyed Lord
bhajans fall like petals
from my lips
Console us with the
sound of Your dancing ankle bells

Frogs are croaking in the garden
fairy solar lamps light a fragrant path
for you to walk upon

Frightful sounds of the world fade
away with holy hymns as the
mist sweetly parts

I wait like Radha waited for her
Krishna and Mira Bai too
only the blush of Your Love
sustains us

Perfume the world with your
Sacred Presence
Sai Krishna
To touch your lips before dawn stretches across our skin
Similar to The Creation of Adam

On the eve of your departure

Where whimsical scripts meet sacrosanct words
Wrapping themselves around your tongue
And ripple like kaftans when sung

We hold these truths to be self-evident
And your vision is honest

I refuse suffering your absence amongst the hunger I feel
Cooking up a plan to capture your heart
A pinch of your perspiration's salt
The kiwi sweetness in your sway

Even if you appear in my dreams, although miles away
It's the best homecoming yet.

Beloved David
Seven years have flown
by on the wings of a swan
our wedding whites hang in the
pooja room closet
fresh and beautiful as
that first kiss
unveiled

With weak knees and stars spilling
from our eyes
we pledged our Love
before God
while angels tossed
rose petals and white rice

Seven years an eternity
we weathered the storms of
our ego
and cherished the droplets of love
that fell compassionately

Dearest Heart
On the auspicious
day of our wedding anniversary
I garland you again
and again
and again
