One last step
Through the forest before the trees are cut down.

One last flight into space
Before the the satellites keep us in.

One last read
Before the library cuts the sentence by toll.

One last champion
Before his logos show.

One last man.
Before he places the devil around his neck.

One last word.
Before they charge me for every other after.

Freedom doesn't have "a last".
Freedom is lasting.
Vote for net neutrality. You deserve to know. You deserve to not be charged to know. Be free. Our one last freedom is this tiny screen in your hand right now.

My net worth is negative 20K,
With interest, that's growing every day.
Now, my starting pay’ll neighbor 60-70k
And though I have no technical skills
My friends find me dull
My talent needs work
I dismiss it all,
Go ahead,
And gas it up full,
Fork over said talent
To a Professor who ignores my attempts at a challenge.
Yes, yes, I’ll manage this round,
Though the hole's designed for a stay,
In debt, forever on the repay.

Now I'm pushing 40,
And the negative has 40 over me.
How'd I lose that bet, so clearly bad?
I thought this here was the recipe:
I'd go to school, get good grades
I’d hit that rice-only diet, labor like a slave
Occasionally crunch a wrap at Taco Bell
(Cause if it ain’t a date, you're saving still)
And while I rant, rage, and rave
I continue to dig.
If this is me caving in
Then these digit-dusted boulders
Are going to crush this twig.

There is an old concept
A Wives' Tale some say
That in minds has been kept
And passed on to this day:

*The world has zero net
Each life has the same
Some luck in beginning
Some good in the end
Whether spread out thin
Or gathered at once
Each person holds within
A set amount of luck
For those who face hardships
Early on in their life
By the time that they're old
They'll be free from strife
And for those who live joyful
When they are still small
Will find that the end
Isn't pleasant at all
And for those with a tad
Bit more luck than the rest
Their life will be even
Awakening to rest
With small hardships spread out
From day one to the end
But ultimately we all
Have set amounts of good fortune
From birth until death
We each get our portion

The glowing eyes of the monstrous beast
gleam with hunger for more information
more money, more censorship

If you want freedom of expression
there's a fine to pay
Didn't you know? Knowledge comes at a price

take take take

It sees what you see
It knows what you know and more
while hiding you within the shadows of ignorance

You have no unalienable rights that it won't take
Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness?
What a joke.

take take TAKE

A future full of more take than give
Is that what you want?
Or are you willing to fight for freedom?

Dont get hooked.
Im addictive,
Dont take too much.

Father
be my net of love
For I fall
and I cannot catch myself
This week I feel like a little snail who has lost her shell. But I'm a snail in God's hands.

Chorus
Watch me fly
Let me fly away
As the bird
I take a flight away

Verse 1
In the still, silence pervades
No reminiscence of a past gone away
You watched me talk,
Then I lost all my words you waved
Goodbye, sad goodbyes
In the caves, the echo of my voice pollutes
It’s in the when, the how all the where

Verse 2
In the fields, I withered as the crops bloomed
No remembrance of a past erased
You heard me beg,
As I lost all the will to live but die
The pointed fingers on my being
In  the brave, I took the shield and guarded up
It’s the now, the never ending paths

Bridge**
Parachuting from the skies
The distance is to high
But I trust the safety net
The hailing jet
I wear the sailing zest

You are a really good fisherman,

And I am just but a foolish fish,

                                                                             Preposterously bitten your hook,
With your bait of feigned love attached to it,

Piercing it all the way to my heart,

Leaving me wounded with all of those prevaricates I've fell for,

But I don't know why,

                            I still love the feeling,

That you've been jumping in gladness,

                                             That you've finally caught me,

Even though I was hardly breathing,

'Cause you've taken  me away from the place,

That makes me breathe and gives me joy.

                                 It somehow gives me relief,

                 Seeing the auspicious sun,

Brightly gleaming into my beautiful scales,

Not knowing it was just a start of a baleful Gehenna!

I should've known all along that it's just an entice!

                              But I am still blessed,

'Cause I have manage to escape,

While damaging and harming myself in the process,

From the jailhouse that you've locked me in.

                                                      From then on,

              You've learned a lesson,

And use NET instead.

The rocks don't stop you,
And neither does your prey's sharp teeth.
Gold, silver, grey and blue,
Darting into salty view,
What a lovely shade and hue,
I want to have you for my own,
And yet,
Here you are,
Away from the net,
Dart, dart, darting away,
Wonder of your fluorescent skin,
Smoother than the smallest pin,
A jokers smile is plastered for show,
Swim, swim, swim away.
