Life is a sermon
But we don't often preach
As well as we should
So we fail to reach
The hearts of those
Who sit down in the pews
Expecting a sermon
But left thoroughly confused

Because our lives don't always
Preach the same message
We had in our hearts
When we stepped up to the pulpit

So are we just wasting time
Of those who would listen
Preaching vacant words
Void of passion and mission?

Or does our sermon deliver
A powerful punch
A life-changing message of wisdom
Such that people are inspired
And leave their pews moved
To know God a little deeper
Anxious to choose
To invest their lives wisely
In people not things
Pouring love generously
Like a gift from the King

May your life be a sermon
That points others to God
Shedding light on the dark roads
We all have to trod

Because there's nothing more wasted
Than a life without purpose
A sermon preached aimlessly
Uninteresting and worthless

Friends, I beg you
Preach your life with such zeal
Make the evidence unshakable
That God's love is real

He’s young, so very young,
And beautiful.
Dark, broody, beautiful!
No fear in his eyes-
Only quiet confidence.

You fly by night
With sight of the owl,
You climb with your eagle machine,
Fiercely, conquering the night.
Skilfully, lovingly, victoriously!

Your cool blue eyes
A shimmering pool
Of memories
And I see them all
And remember them vividly.
And I recall them
Hopelessly.
Because I don't know
If we can ever be what we used to be.
So we grasp at the threads
And everything that's left.
And we try to hold on
For as long as possible.
Until our hands slip
And you fly far away.
I miss you already babe
And I'm not ready for the change
I'll listen to your songs all day...
To our songs every day.
And I guess it's better this way.
Because Fate
Has never seemed to be
In our favor.
But I'll pray
While you're away.

A vision, in a flash told him about her ultimate mission,
that's the best of gifts, for anyone that walks on this planet.
When you are here, only for a short while, find out the one thing
some one special wants to fulfill, then, help accomplish it,all out.

No need even to ask what makes the passion to them, so intense,
see the sense of purpose, the grace; swiftly they move towards the goal,
every being roaming here, has a mission kept coded at the core,
as for her, she is the " ambassador of love" from the cosmic  effulgence.

"I am the spirit of the dead,"
They talk through me
Death,*
Whispers,
Clearly,
The living must walk the halls
Life* is the wrong
All must
"Sing the song of silent breath"
Essence of warmth is a sacrilege,
All must be cold in
Stillness,
Serenity,
Tranquillity
Will not be found, all must release themselves
From the torture of life
"Only death is eternal"
I have taken many,
"I am telling you this,"
There is a
Beginning
&
End
You will sleep in persistent peace
Like the rest,
So many immortal in
The halls, each have a place,
"Do"
"Not"
"Worry"
"The missing are never to be found"
Prey with relief, when I release your burden
"I Am The Spirit Of The Dead"
Life is fleeting the only comfort is in death
Invisible like the spirit never known or seen,
You don't even realise I'm out there, culling the herd.
The spirit speaks through me, all life ends cold.
The best serial killers are the ones you never know are even out there

It’s been so long
and distance
does it change things?
And
have things changed?
Time
seems to me
the epitome of change
and I let it pass
so freely
so selfishly
not really so willingly..
But explanations are
weak
pitiful
and mirror how I feel
about it all.
Because oh dear
I miss you
and I love you!
And though I wish
I could take myself back
to when so much time
had not passed,
I wish, now,
it would pass
a bit more freely.
I wish the clock
would tick a little quicker.
Because I want you home
and I want the familiarity
of your hand in mine
and your arms around me
playfully.
You mean so much to me
I’m waiting
Dhaye Margaux Sep 2014
I walked and ran
In crowded place
I stopped and gazed
At solemn face

I saw your tears
I felt your pain
It crushed my heart-
For what you gain

You looked at me
Then our eyes met
You asked for help
Without regret

You said you need
Is not my mind
But heart that sees
What's hard to find

So I answered
Your breaking call
To help you stand
And not to fall

But as I see
Inside your heart
The pain and gloom
Tear me apart

I sworn to Him
To be your guide
To help you through
And not to hide

To my surprise
You made me see
The light in you
Shining on me

We are the same
I realized
Some good things kept
Be recognized

An angel dear
You are to me
Now I do feel
Now I can see

So let us soar
And go somewhere
Let's spread the light
And goodness there

This is our goal
We have to face
Let's share the love
And be amazed!
You and I...

Until now I thought that I was over you.
But I realized that I was not.
I have not been able to wear my red hoodie.

The one that I used to wear when we were walking together.
The one were you would put your hand up my sleeve and hold my hand. The one with our memorize.

So I wore it for three days in a row to convince myself that I am over you. **Mission accomplished.

Your Style Can Not Dominate
Not Being Crude, Not Spreading Hate
I'm Just Spreading The Word, Going To Radiate
Even Without It, You'd Probably Meet Your Fate

Taking You Down Has Become My Mission
Going To Split Your Mind, Sanity Fission
And Your World In Two, Territorial Division
I'm Coming At You With Insane Precision

Not Going To Rush, Going To Be Tactical
Make Sure My Plans Are 100% Practical
Attacking Aimlessly Would Be Impractical
Give My People A Show, Theatrical

I'm Flawless, You're Flawed
When People Hear My Words, They Applaud
When They Hear yours? They Call The Firing Squad
I Don't Think Inside The Box, I Think Abroad

I'm Guessing By Now You Must Be Hurting
You Coming To Me, Asking For Some Kind Of Converting
The Topic Kills You, You're Diverting
To You. I'm Quite Alerting
Just Realised the 4th verse will rhyme depending on your accent, oh well...
