I couldn't be further
From believing in God
But your love has me questioning
Who else could've found
Such a sweet angel
And sent him to me.

You have imprinted all your memories here,
And now you do not have to at all fear.

You just tell me what and I will not just hear,
With all my soul I will always strive to listen.

You look beautiful in the night lamp dear,
For all the beads of your sweat will glisten.

You look gorgeous with those pearls there,
From your forehead they all are descended.

You appear youthful with those curls here,
Around your ears they all are so nicely coiled.

You appear deadly with those curvy eyes,
Lucky me I'll cherish their charms for lifelong.

You look fabulous with your lips quivering,
Even in my dreams I have not been luckier.

An eyelash on my cheek.
I caught it and blew it.
With the wind.
A star shoots across the sky.
I tied a knot.
A four-leaf clover.
I almost stepped on it.
11:11.
Says my Casio digital watch.
A coin lying on the sidewalk.
I flipped it down the well.

Fingers crossed.
Eyes closed.

I feel lucky.
I wish for you.

I heard today
that wherever our love goes
there we find our soul.
If we're lucky.
If we're blind.
Are you my soul?

My soul found you
like an old friend
and awakened my heart
knowing just the right
strings to pull.
My soul knew it from
the first time we really
talked.
It told my heart
Know that. Keep it close.
It told my mind what to say
and it let me feel
what love was.
I don't know how it did it.

What I do know
is that I am lucky
and I am blinded.
By your love.
By your beauty.
By your soul.

the collar on my jacket is frayed
but I have clothes on my back

(just)

the packaging is white with green print
but I have food in my belly

(of sorts)

the soles talk and leak when I walk
but I have boots on my feet

(for now)

so I’m OK

(I suppose)

***** deep into the Smart Price ™ life
this man, his daughters, his son and his wife
where all their food comes at discounted price
expired meat and rationed heat
sweepings and fat wrapped in plastic

the walk was wholly unexpected, but it was easy
leaving the town where the forward leaning walkers
were the slowest thinking talkers steeped in sugary urgency,
and all the way we **** giltterballs and Skittles

Eyebrows like barbed wire,
Skin like leather,
Silver hair always carefully in place,
And a handshake that held your everything.
It's etched into my palm.
Beneath the kindest eyes I knew
Bags were packed for the Winter.
Every item picked thoughtfully for her:
His life

A short tribute to my Grandad George who passed away. One of the kindest and most selfless people I've known.

Raw
Lucky are those whose destiny
Is choosen for them
For I feel their path
Is clear cut and laid out
They know what they are meant to be
They've had enough time to accept it
Unlike me for mine judgement
Is clouded with antsy and fear
With doubt and uncertainty
The future I foresee is out of my control
That makes me feel forlorn
Will all the risks be worth at the end ?
I frequent that path
Maybe I need to hold on
Till the end of the tunnel
When the light will reveal my place
And there will be no one
But myself to blame
Then I shall accept it raw

Oh, sweet serendipity
How you've been so good to me
Afraid of fate, I used to be
Now my arms rest openly
