The moment you were born was life’s most amazing day,
We welcomed you with open arms; you took our breath away.
At night we’d rock you by the window, looking at the stars,
And we’d feel you tiny heartbeat, and press it against ours.

You’d always sleep in your crib with a smile on your face,
And we knew that our family for you was the perfect place.
Your beautiful eyes stared with wonder and we stared back and smiled,
We were the luckiest parents in the world to have you as our child.

We’d hold your tiny little hands and feel you grab on tight,
And we knew that in your heart you felt that everything was right.
As you got a little older, we’d go on trips to see the world,
And you still slept like a little angel under your blanket curled.

We went fishing and camping and slept under the sky,
We were there to share your laughs and hold you if you cried.
We did everything together; we were best friends for years,
We talked about all our dreams and then shared all our fears.

In your teenage years our friendship started to slowly fade,
School occupied more of your time with every passing grade.
You had girlfriends and parties, and we saw you less and less,
We missed our time together, but we prayed for your success.

When you eventually left for college our home was incomplete,
Our family dinners just weren’t the same without you there to eat.
But in college you were growing up in every single way,
And we could not have been prouder come Graduation Day.

Now that you’re grown up and moved out, we rarely see each other,
Work makes it hard for you to find time for your father and mother.
But as your parents always know we’ll be here til the end,
And we’ll forever have our memories that we spent with our best friend.

11:11 and I'm wishing for you
wishing that you would not simply see me through
wishing that we could be as one
I'd surely be the luckiest girl
under the sun

I am happy because I am lucky,
because I see the beauty of the world,
because I have hope,
because I don't give up,
because for all the bad there is good to compensate.
I am happy because I love myself,
I constantly try to improve myself,
to improve the world around me.

BFF
Spending the day with your best friend and then kissing her on the lips is one of the best feelings in the world.

Only then you realize how lucky you really are.

Don't give yourself away,
Just because of the weight of love!
The weight of having to tear down those walls,
You so carefully build up,
Only to have them knocked down.

Don't feel pressured,
Take it at a slow and steady pace,
Love the day,
Love isn't a race.

Hope you like it!

There's a mountain climber
Enjoying the breeze
As he takes a deep breath
On a peak among the trees

There's a tired girl
Relaxing in a shady spot
Trying to decide
Whether to take a nap or not

There's a teenager
With music in his ears
He's losing himself in the beat
And forgetting all his fears

There's a distance runner
Picking up his slack
And he feels a sense of pride
Because he's finishing at the head of the pack

There's a student
Who has just finished a test
And she's letting out a sigh of relief
Now she can get some rest

There's a group of kids
Who are trying to leave the heat
And as they jump into a pool
The cool water swallows them complete

There's a man coming off of work
His children hug him at the door
And in that cherished moment
He remembers what he's working for

But of all these simple pleasures
There's one that reigns supreme
Because there's a boy writing a poem
About the way love feels with the girl of his dreams.
You're the reason that I smile and I see you in all the simple pleasures of life. Your love is everywhere I look and it fills me to the brim! I love you so much Natalie!

Do you know who is
a real hero?
The one who wins after
a huge failure is a
true hero
Do you know who is a
real hero?
The one who treats
success and failure on
the same wavelength
is a true hero
Do you know who is
a real hero?
The one who learns from
his failures is a true hero
Do you know who is
a real hero?
The one who stands steady
when everyone trys to
let him down is a true hero
A true hero has a strong,
sensible mind
A true hero never gives up
at the sight of defeat!

I couldn't be further
From believing in God
But your love has me questioning
Who else could've found
Such a sweet angel
And sent him to me.

You have imprinted all your memories here,
And now you do not have to at all fear.

You just tell me what and I will not just hear,
With all my soul I will always strive to listen.

You look beautiful in the night lamp dear,
For all the beads of your sweat will glisten.

You look gorgeous with those pearls there,
From your forehead they all are descended.

You appear youthful with those curls here,
Around your ears they all are so nicely coiled.

You appear deadly with those curvy eyes,
Lucky me I'll cherish their charms for lifelong.

You look fabulous with your lips quivering,
Even in my dreams I have not been luckier.

An eyelash on my cheek.
I caught it and blew it.
With the wind.
A star shoots across the sky.
I tied a knot.
A four-leaf clover.
I almost stepped on it.
11:11.
Says my Casio digital watch.
A coin lying on the sidewalk.
I flipped it down the well.

Fingers crossed.
Eyes closed.

I feel lucky.
I wish for you.
