A strange feeling of enlightenment ‬
Excites her when she gets close‬
He’s disregarded by very few,‬
Respected and held high by most‬

His thoughts are deep and fragile ‬
His presence is strong and sleek ‬
She felt it before, and feels it again ‬
With him, her worries turn weak.‬

His courage uplifts the world ‬
His passion; to live without regret ‬
She feels the balance and control ‬
How wonderful that these two have met ‬
‪‬
Together, arriving on a different level ‬ ‪
A million flowers have bloomed, eternity exists ‬
‪The aura around is beautiful and bright ‬
She feels weightless, he feels limitless ‬

And if somehow the world separates these two ‬
She will wake up again, and find him in fate ‬
For when her time is wrong, his time is right ‬
And nothing in the universe separates soul mates

The dank warm air stirs,
I hear sound echoing,

Moving towards me
Or am I moving towards it?

Dim light, tunnels of trees;
I am deep into the unfamiliar.

What is that sound
Vibrating through me?

Is it moving towards me,
Or am I moving into it?

An uneasiness moves
Up my body.  My blood

Is pumping, flushing me.
That sound engulfs me.

The echoes stir and I realize
It is my own heart.

Anxiety
   Fear, uncomfortable
      Haunting, stalking, shaking
Always following, mixing with every situation
       Laughing, dancing, loving
      Wonderful, desirable
 Excitement

Down in the depths of a wilderness;
the derangement of **** and of wisp.
A creature is arched in a hunker
over bundled leaves; golden and crisp.

Its' blistered hands riddled with splinters
Its' tired face blackened by dirt.
Its' glowing and warm disposition,
Worn pale by commotion and hurt.

It is wary from cold and from torment;
the dark of the forests damp chill.
But it scuffs at the bones as with tinder
igniting the marrow with skill.

Wiping its' brow with its' forearm
the creature desists with a gasp
Smoke trails up through the forest.
A spark has alighted at last.

The flame inhales fallen pine cones;
blazing up through the bramble and briar.
Excitement and fear harmonizing,
'till their voices can't sing any higher;

'till the heart is consumed by her fire.

You give me such a head rush,
The kind where you lose your breath
        Face flushed

Where I'm stuttering on every word
   Filled with electricity,
      Power surge

You want me?
Well come on and ******* find me
      I'll be waiting

Resisting the urge to
Even think about what you do to me
    Patiently

I don't know how long
I can hold it in- until you see me?
    Maybe

But can I resist the urge to burst
When you're underneath & inside of me
     We'll see

                                            *I love you sir
We get each other so high

I saw you flipping through the pages of a book
And I thought to myself I'd do anything to be that book
You were interested in it
You took the time to read every line
To understand each and every word
The way your eyes stared in passion, curiosity, excitement...
The way you smiled at the new information
Everything I've always wanted you to do to me
To actually want to know me...
To actually want to understand who I am...
To smile because you learned something new about me...
To flip through my pages and learn about my life...
Who knew I'd be jealous of a book?

I have a journal filled with quotes and poems
ones that strike me with emotion
and take my breath away in the moment that I see them.
A thought that excites me is that maybe one day
someone will have a journal like me
and my poems will grace their pages
and be written in someone else's script.
I'd like to leave my mark on the world somehow
so maybe this will be my chance.
sorry, just a little ramble on my wednesday evening

Are we going to
Be okay?
Can you come to my window,
Dig up a few stones from the
Earth,
Hit my window, wake me up.
I can be your landlocked lover
Just give me a river
Kiss me underwater
Let me be your swimming pool
My
Nights will no longer be
Opaque, but transparent
Pulsing with handfuls of confetti stars
Quivering like my lips.
Rest is for the dead,
So let's make our heartbeats quicken.
Take my hand, and
Under the watercolor sky,
Violet with the breaking dawn,
Wait until the sun returns. Know that we're
eXactly where we are meant to be. Say
You will stay.
Zip up your coat, and we will keep each other warm.
Thought it'd be fun to try out this format, and I really enjoyed it!  I'm going to probably write more ABC poems in the future.

I thought I heard it in your voice
An unreal suggestion to sincerity
It was like my heart stopped for a lifetime
As butterflies collided in my stomach
But that all seemed to vanish
My heart sank to the pit of my stomach
And the butterflies retreated rightfully so
The very second you sidestepped such a foolish thought
It was a punishing wave of disappointment.
I should have learned all the other times.
