I said it before, I’ll say it again
Hope we can move past these chain of events that keep us trapped.
Light up the room, light it again
Hope we can talk freely like children on school nights, miles apart.
Smile like before, smile again
Haven’t meet up for months, maybe it’s a sign that this is the end.

Maybe we shouldn’t play pretend.
Play dates are over now there are only days.
We’ve outgrown our toys, we’ve outgrown ourselves.

Growing up
we become closer to the person we are not.
How shallow the facade of maturity is.
How fragile the moments when we feel a human,
how quickly they are lost.
How we grapple at the loose ends of what’s left behind.
How we ask ourselves questions
and write about person in the mirror.
How everything we want
is already in past
and everything in future
is just a compromise.

I swear I hate you.
I don't love you, too.
Amen.
Beyonce to the Black Parade.
Friendships badly custom-made.
Amen.
Empty walls and a mirror.
Lies've never seemed clearer.
Amen.
Lipstick and split ends.
Broken bottles and fake friends.
Amen.
A m e n.
This one goes out to you. You know who you are.

Mountains, paths

Beginnings and ends

My soul leaps for the sky

When I take that first step

When the faces repeat,
And you rinse and lather the imaginary relationships between.

It is time.

When you no longer care about anything but a smile and a wave.
And the real relationships are laid bare before you.

It is time.

When you're too close to the fire and know you it is so.
By the smell of your smoldering self-realized ego.

It is time.

When the moments have passed and the omens you knew,
Which have been good tor you, for so long, are now gone.

*Yes, it is time to go.
Say so? I do.
emblazoned on the gang's coat of arms
was the following logo
we fight without any principles
for we are of the very low

***** tactic achieve our ends
and we take pride
in the way we trample all over
the much politer tends

stray not into the areas
that we patrol and control
as our thuggery will
hammer a robust toll

our triumphs are legendary
across many a land
we've a history in employing
the grubbiest hand

one qualification which is essential
when joining our accord
that's to be a bandit capable
of playing the foul sword

Finally sat down
To write.
Write epilogue
To all that we were.
All those starring
And longing
Which I wanted
To end
And end just in each other.
My pen broke
Asking me
To stop
To wait
To give us another chance
But I knew ,
I know
That you won’t never know
And thus I complete it now
With an epilogue
With a book
Which I hope unlike others
Will go to my grave
Unpublished unread
Just with an epilogue
EPILOGUE that’s all
We were.
IT ENDS HERE...BUT
STAYS FOREVER
Mister J Jan 2018
Cherish the small sweet moments
Savour the nourishing morning kisses
Remember every beautiful memory
'Cause when everything ends it's a twisted tragedy

You'll be left in bed thinking like crazy
Asking why she went out that door
Never to be seen and touched again
Bringing with her a big chunk of your brokenness

When it all ends, what would you do?
Will you rise up and try to move on?
Or would you mope bitterly until you lose all reason?
3am thoughts.
