We hang
precariously
by the lies
we present as truth.

Dispensing tainted words
we thought inconsequential.
Ill-conceived notions
we sowed and nurtured.

But now we dangle
by the skin
of our fingers over this cliff...
Desperately clawing
to find purchase...
And gravity is a
mean *****.

If only I had no consequences to my actions.
Stars that glisten in the sky's night light,
Reflecting your beauty that matches endless suns.
If I had no consequences to my actions, surely,
I would join our lips in a sinful embrace.
Could we have just this one night?
This one moment?

I strike thee heart, as you struck mine,
Entertaining the peripheral of untouched love.
Hand holds hand, finger against finger.
I wish it were so!

You are going, going away,
Unbeknownst to you,
My heart sojurns with you.
Even to the ends of the earth,
Beyond the rugged edge of it all,
I follow you to your tomb.

If only I had no consequences to my actions,
I would give my heart to you.

There once was a young man
lost at sea.

For days his mother wept.
An old man came.

Solemn she begged,
"Bring him back."

"A life for a life,
that is the law."

"My years are at an end,
his has just begun."

That night she bled
until daybreak.

The men appeared, fished
her son on their vessel.

She smiled with no fare-wells,
and left.

Her son held no funeral,
made no tears,

became a drunkard
and died just the same.

Is it better to try something
And to risk any consequence?
Or worse not to try anything,
Risk being of no consequence?

Your words drove into me like the dagger at your side
They pierced through me into my very heart
But your face stayed calm like the waters in a lake without tide
You seemed indifferent to the pain that you caused as my soul was torn apart
You showed no sign of expression under that gilded mask
But I'm sure that mask is your prison
You hide behind it and then strike out fast
Your words eat away at you like poison
To hide your dying self you try to **** others instead
But for every person you wounded you killed yourself again
Our words can hurt, but often they hurt us more than we could ever hurt another. When we try to lift ourselves up by pushing others down it only causes us more pain in the end.
You reap what you sow,
even if that's only woe.

When some people get really mad at somebody, they want to ****.
Please don't commit ****** no matter how much anger you feel.
Some people think they can get away with ****** but the cops are much more efficient than they think.
Please don't ever take a life because if you do, the cops will most likely end up throwing you in the clink.
No matter how badly a person has treated you, please don't commit ******, there is always a better solution.
It will be very sad if I hear that you've been sent to prison or death row where you'll be facing execution.
If you get so angry that you want to **** somebody, I'm begging you to think twice.
****** is never the answer, if you commit it, you will most likely pay the price.
I've written this poem for anybody who is thinking about committing ******.

You had secrets you'd been hiding,
But when the blood started spilling
So did they.

You always had an argument,
But when it erupted in discontent,
You had nothing to say.

And you hide behind your innocence,
Blame it all on ignorance
So that you'd be safe.

But in the concoction you'd been brewing,
It was problems you were stirring;
You just couldn't let them lay.

So go ahead and sleep soundly,
But this war that is surrounding
Will eventually make you pay.
You choose your path,
And when in wrath,
You choose how to react,
With people, you choose how to act,
When wrong, you choose to either accept or deny,
But the laws of nature;you can't defy
When you're wrong,you're wrong.
You can't run away from the consequences like you can from a ball when playing ping pong.
Life is a series of choices and results.
