I'm sorry
I keep comparing
you and everything we have
to the ghosts
of my past.

Ripe fruit on the branch,
so rich and sweet,
bursts juice that trickles down.

Into the roots so thick and deep.
all good things,
return to the ground.

In my mind you'd see frosted windows
Deep thoughts on chilly nights
overcast skies in midday
Mauve grey black and white
Puddles that fill potholes
and stars a mile above your crown
Forests of enchanting pine trees
Vivid cities and abandoned towns
Winter and blinding snowstorms
Mountains jagged yet soft and pink
Rivers and lakes and oceans
Lyrics that force you to think
It's soberness and possibility
A serene drive in silent streets
Independence and stability
Fallen leaves that parade the streets
Thoughts that wander as you do
Buses filled with empty seats
Open fields and morning dew
The first ray of light at as you awake
Simplicity warmth and elegance
And the rhythm of the breaths you take

The essential components are the spaces
The emptiness and silence
It is not a lack or void to fill
Simply memories with traces
The space and vacancy inside
Leaves room for inspiration
Gives new thoughts their proper places
Lost in thought
Lost in my mind
Lost in the stars dew and fields
but not blind
Lost in the analogy
But I've never lost my way
Accustomed to each reality
One foot in each doorway
Quoth the Ego:
"What's wrong with you;
why aren't you more like me?"

Quoth the Id:
"What's wrong with me;
why am I so unlike you?"

Both seem like Shadow to me,
but then again
  that may perhaps be
simply my own projection.

You are worth more than words.
Here I am, on the verge of immersing myself in the voyage of words.
Like Mother's beloved birds,
On a trek to traverse towards Source.
The one constant on an ever-changing earth.
But,
Birds need no words
To convey their bliss
Towards the Source that burns,
In a Nature's kiss.
So,
I share my words,
I scrutinize it too,
Just as everything else
I feel or do.
But there is one thing,
I can't ignore,
It's the feeling of knowing,
Of loving, of joy,
Without ever needing
Language to deploy.

In a rejuvenated hope I remind.

A** wise collection of words,
My memory shares with you.

Some days are really bad,
Others are even worse,
Reign they who have the reins,
Reins to their own life,
Yet in synch with love.

Kindness may soar high,
Routing away is no solution,
If you let patience prevail,
Problems will be solved,
In fact, you lose nothing.
I am your Drona forever.
All I ask is patience, dear.
Our perseverance will pay us brightly.

we danced the waltz and
yes i stepped on your toes and missed a few steps
but you also held me in your arms and swayed me back and forth-
whilst you whispered sweet nothings into my ear
and
when we were at our happiest;
in sync;
to the beat;
you walked out of the room and left me dancing in circles waiting for you to come back.

My life is like a Rubik’s cube. Too many twists and turns that are out of order and with every twist and turn comes havoc in anything already accomplished.

love is like water;
**it always finds a way
Olivia Jane Aug 2015
Love is like a river floating down stream
Just when the water stills, it merges with another
The rivers play, tossing the water around
Unbeknownst of the waterfall that's tumbling down
Together they fall, becoming one,
It's scary to fall, damage is done.
I've fallen before it's sad to say
Sometimes the river doesn't quite make the bay
But i hope and i pray that this river lasts
For i think I've found true love at long last.
Peace
