Yes I can hope.
Hello sweet eternal moments.
You slipped away when I opened my eyes.
That's alright.

Now I know there's real life.

if I can't sleep at night
and I just want to cry
i'll listen to some music
and I know it'll be alright

I am alright
I am alright
right.

Alright.

I am alright
I am alright

Flight.

Taking flight

With this

Insight
Inticed

I am alright
I am alright
right

Through Times
I am fixing my mind
Through fixation
I am realizing
Omegas Light
Gifts into the Lord I won't miss.

Goodness, gracious, oh how I love this.

I kissed the drop of the ice
Like your tears that never stop
I should have hold your corpse
Instead of giving it to another man
Grayscale and a forceful kiss

I should have warmed you with my love
But now you're gone and I act though
I can't smell the petrichor anymore
My sense had gone walk past that door

The mist that used to makes me shivered
Now just a thin air that whispered
I have lost you in a rainy day like this
Your raindrops were warm and salty
*And now I am buried with  guilt

Well I guess we all have
our own versions of the truth
Our own little realities
Mine separate from you

When I say that I'm alright
And you know that's not true
When my smile, its so fake
And I can't hide it from you

So maybe I'm living in an illusion,
Or maybe this is all just a dream.
I don't want you to see my life
how it really is.
You mean too much to me

You barely scratched the surface
of my whole life story
And to tell the truth
I don't want you to know,
Just think that my life's boring

It's better for you
and better for me
If you keep living in this illusion
Because we only see what we want to see
And you don't need to see these scars...
They hide too much of the truth
The truth I myself hide from.

And I hope you'll never have to find
The ugly truth that I call my life
I'll keep it all buried in time
In this pain, in this strife.

I'm trying to hold on
To this little sliver of a lie
that holds the broken pieces of my reality,
Telling myself I'll be alright...
That this pain is just an illusion
And in truth I'll be fine.

But I was never good at lying
And I'm just doing this for you.

Because you're
safe
in your own little
reality
As long as its
Far
from my own little
truth.
The poem that inspired my new song "My Own Illusion". It won a competition but more importantly saved me from drowning on yet another night...

No matter how much they’ve warned me, no matter how many precautions shouted right at my face, no matter how foolish it is, I took the bait knowing all the danger it brings. People always say words are useless, to never believe in them, that words are just words after all. They say it is so foolish of us to believe in something that has no certainty if it’s real or not, if it was done or not or if it will be done or not. “Do not trust words trust actions” something that always pops up in google whenever you search “quotes” there are people out there who never heard “You are beautiful” There are people who never heard of people telling them they admire them. And then one day someone would come and tell all the beautiful words they would love to hear. And that is not foolish, it is not foolish for someone to believe in something that has once brought them happiness. What can you do when the words you’ve failed to hear was said by an unexpected someone. All you can do is to believe not minding if it’s real or not, if it was really done or not or if it will be done or not. It is alright to believe in something without proof and certainty. You are not foolish nor dumb. You took the bait just like I did the first time. It will be alright I promise you because if you believe the first time and failed you’ll know what to do the second time around. *Sometimes words are enough. Sometimes it doesn’t need to be proven at all because words are enough to keep you sane and insane at the same time.

You have the power
Of the stars,
Oh hell,
The whole **** universe
Raging inside of you.
And that is how I know
That you will be alright.

It's been a near two years since I fell out of love with you
We were never together and I concluded we never meant

Fast forward to now, I knew that  I learnt a lot about love
When I was out of it
And when you grabbed my hand for the first time since then
I'm happy to say

I was first to leave
All along I hid my face, my arms, my thighs and all too well my gut.
Because in this modern day,
The bigger your gut was the
Less You're able to still enjoy yourself. Let alone another human being.

From grade five
The girls learn that boys
Only like the pretty things in life.
Pretty eyes, pretty nose, pretty hair, and pretty smiles.

In grade six
Girls pick up sticks and stones while they break their bones all for a sense of acceptance of a few classmates.

In grade seven
When they tell you your pretty "isn't pretty enough"
You learn how to hide.

In grade eighth
You tuck in your gut, you fake a smile, and continue to glare at the girls
Who just always seem to get the time of day.
When you go home and stare into the mirror and start to count. You count for the days to come , were your smile is just right. Your clothes seem to fall perfectly. When the cute guy saves you a seat.
You count and wait to be perfect.

But the thing about perfection is
No body is.

it's taken me this long

Grade twelve.

To figure that out.
I used to hate myself but now I'm just finding out that it's alright to not be alright.
