A Distant Land
Syiera Rose Jan 2016
Sitting lightly,
Sweetly romancing me.
The droplets of rain dancing on the lake behind me.
Singing, the birds are loudly singing
Songs so sweet, they have me daydreaming.
Of when the time will come
When it is only you and i
Sitting side by side.
Walking hand in hand.
From this to a distant land.
I write all my poems. If you would like to use any of my writing, I ask that you ask my permission or inform me that you will be using them.
that is the least you could do.
Thank you.

Sitting Frozen
Syiera Rose Jan 2016
Sleeping on a dozen frozen boulders.
Dreaming of a dozen frozen rivers.
Being overcome by a dozen frozen fingers
Digging up what will soon become a dozen ice cold oceans.
A single ray of healthy golden sunlight
Shines down on all those frozen figures.
And as those frozen rivers start to melt
The frozen fingers begin to float up and away.
Then there grows a dozen tall and green trees.
In a dozen different voices they tell me
"May your heart remain weightless and your mind keep you floating. For the air may bring you to from a dozen different places. No one will benefit from your own self oppression."
I write all my poems, if you would like to use any of them, I ask you to ask my permission or at least tell me. that is the least you could do.
Thank you.

Less is Disguised as More
Syiera Rose Jan 2016
For all the gold in the world may be at my feet, why is it I am still unhappy?
For all the silver spoons I use to eat,
Why is it I am still unhappy?
For all the dresses I have to make every girl in my kingdom pretty,
Why is it that I long for more?
Maybe, I don't long for more but, I long for less, and less is in the disguise of more.
I write all my poems. If you would like to use my poems for any purpose, I ask you to ask my permission, or inform me that you will be using any of them.
That is the least you could do.
thank you.

Colorful and Alive
Syiera Rose Feb 2016
Forever floating among grey skin and grey clothes.
Which seems to be perfect for some,
But I cannot follow those;
Those who follow the greyscale, those who believe what is said to be ideal.
Do they long to no longer feel?
Do they wish to live a bland life?
Be straight, take a wife,
Have kids, live for strife?
Take a husband, Work full time,
Whistle out the window as the birdies chime?
Little do they know, you can have a normal life and keep yourself colorful and alive.
Little do they know, there is no shame in having color makes for a happier life.
What I mean by color: Color as in idea's, adventures, and real- well thought out- opinions and ideas.

Is this a remark on homosexuality and gay rights?: No, it isn't, it is just the typical idea of "normal".

What do I mean by "normal"?: What I mean by normal is the typical settling down and raising a family. In this poem I am talking about raising a family and still experiencing life.

I write all my material,
Please ask my permission if you would like to use it.
Thank you.

Depression Setting In.
Syiera Rose Jan 2016
The more i think, the more i die inside.
Nowhere to run and hide, not even inside.
When hiding until the time passed
May have worked in the past.
Now there's no such thing as time to pass.
There's nothing left to do but to wade through.
Waves of emotion topple and crash over.
My lungs embrace the feeling of restriction and tension.
My heart continues to fight the urge to make it all stop.
Make it all stop.
I write all my poems, if you would like to use any of them, I ask that you ask my permission or at least inform me first.
that is the least you could do. Thank you.

Anxiety
Syiera Rose Jan 2016
She felt as if the air had died. As if the world had stopped.
As if the blood in her veins ceased flow.
And the burning began and she felt a rush. Her blood was once again moving, the world had started revolving again and the air came back to life.
I write all my poems, And if you would like to use what I have written, I ask you to ask my permission or at least let me know that you want to use my words.
That is the least you could do.
thank you.

Dark One
Syiera Rose Mar 2016
I rest my hand upon the giant rock called Dark One. I feel him relax as he gets used to the feeling of flesh breaking the sensation of water and salt. As he exhales, so do i.
I lean over a ledge, holding on to Dark One, to feel a sense of secure danger. I no longer feel the ground, I no longer feel my feet. The salty mist of the ocean sprays my face, flipping my hair frontward and back. As I lean over Dark One’s feet, I contemplate what I will do next. My grip on Dark One becomes loose, and for a moment, I feel the sense of danger I had asked for. For a moment, I felt release. In that moment, with security, Dark One saved me.
I bring myself closer to Dark One, and press myself to his cold, wet frame. I can almost feel him lifting up and down, breathing. I feel myself lifting. There is nothing beneath me. There is only Dark One in front of me. “Where are you taking me, Dark One?” I ask through my spirit. “I am removing your sorrows, I am taking your pain” he says. As he spoke, I grew numb in my legs, then my core, as it passed my *****, I smiled in a sighed relief.  I took my last breath and I became part of Dark One.

I can no longer move, I no longer need breathe. I gaze out over upon the sea as its salty mist sprays Dark One and me.
All that I write is mine. If you wish to use my work, ask for my permission first.
That is the least you could do, Thank you.

To Live Free
Syiera Rose Jan 2016
I want to live close to nature.
Green top trees, white - blue ravense.
I want to live close to life.
Wandering free as we used to be.
I want to live close to death
For it may know I'm not afraid and it won't stop me from doing what I love doing.
Living close to nature, and all its dwellings, all its moods and all its glory.
I write all my poems, if you would like to use them, I ask that you ask my permission or at least inform me.
that is the least you could do.
Thank you.

In a World I Created.
Syiera Rose Jan 2016
I come from a world where nothing makes sense. No one listens no matter how loud you speak. No matter how hard you cry.
I come from a world where if your leg is broken and you are on the floor, you are called weak and get bullied for not running a marathon.
I come from a world where insanity is more real than reality.
I come from a world where little things mean disaster and huge things mean nothing.
I come from a world, where life comes second to money.
I come from a world where you are told to be independent but when you are you are called heartless and a loner.
I come from a world where women are not treated like women.
I come from a world of chaos and insanity and ******.
I will create a world that is full of peace, realization and individuality.
I will create a world that puts the other worlds to shame.
I will create a world where everything goes noticed and appreciated.
I will create a world where chaos is not the answer.
I will create a world where sanity is promoted.
I write all of my poems. If you would like to use any of them, I ask that you ask my permission, or at least inform me.
that is the least you can do.
Thank you.

Blessings from The Gods
Syiera Rose Jan 2016
Oh thine hearts beat one by one. Never forget that.
For thy hearts never will be different.
Even if they beat for reasons that differ.
Oh thine eyes water one by one.
One for hurt, one for joy.
Hurt for the one you loved may not have seen.
Joy for the gods who lift you up and let your soul continue to be.
I write all my poems. If you want to use my writings, I ask you to ask my permission or at least inform me that you will be using them.
It is the least you can do.
Thank you.

Life
Syiera Rose Jan 2016
Many words have been created. Many actions have been performed. Many forms of love exist.
Many forms of hate exist.
Among all of these many many ways of living, ways of dealing and being, there is nothing strong enough to express how i feel.
Oh, how I wish to explain it so you can feel it too.
Almost like butterflies so beautiful you could cry. Butterflies whose wings sing your name when they flutter.
Almost like twinkling stars so bright they can be seen next to the sun and shine brighter. With every twinkle they sprinkle love upon all who notice them.
But so much more than that. So much better than that.
I write all my poems, If you would like to use any of them, I ask that you ask my permission or at least inform me that you are using them.
That is the least you could do.
Thank you.

Light The Moon with Your Divinity.

Light the moon with your divinity.
Close your eyes and count from one to infinity.
When you open your eyes, you'll find yourself in an celestial paradise.
Never mind your past,
For the past is never the last,
Last of life, last of love.
Last of flight, last of landing.
The moon will light you with her divinity.
She will light you when you close your eyes.
She will lift you as you begin to realize,
The past is not the last.
Last time to laugh, the last time to live, the last time to love.
This is my poem. I wrote it. If you want to use it, all I ask is that you ask my permission, or let me know that you want to use it.
That is the least you could do.
thank you.

Why even bother?
Syiera Rose Jan 2016
Oh, the day where you find that going out among them all is no longer a good idea.
That being proven time and time again.

Now, I'm sit here waiting while I watch them all lie.
These are times where, inside, I die;
I know you are all faking to each other.
You know too
Yet you still continue to.

What a disappointment you are, you really are.
We had the opportunities to reach goals from afar.
Yet we stay here, trying to ruin each other.
I got into a wreck today and the people I hit immediately claimed injury.
Which there is no way. My car got the worst damage and the driver was standing for ten minutes while on the phone with police.... anyway....
This is not my best, at all, but it is all I could come up with.
I am in the middle of an anxiety attack.
