butterflies beating
powdered wings
love frenzy
tearing colours apart
- in gardens of summer
there float diamonds
heated bursts
flickering dusts

there we sit
and drink the air
sour sweet
a strange affair

if we collide
will the lies come off?
smudged hues
and sunsets that bruise
might make us change
our tilted views

Who brought you to your knees to humiliate you?
Who shot down your dreams and illusions?
Who made you stop believing in love?
Who caged you with your deepest fears and restless nights?
Who made sure you would never be alright?
Who made you cry at sleep?
Who made you loose your mind?
Who didn't believe in mercy
or faith,
or all that crap...
but above all
Who in their sane mind
Made you hate yourself
*As much as they made me.
Italic and bold are two poems, same scenario, differrent personalty (different people)

>< >< ><
Chinking at your heartstrings,
can you hear
it
շfreezing?շ

>< >< ><

A blush to
your snowy skin
and so you
stop
⇷breathing⇸

>< >< ><

A eyelash brushes away
a century,
a blink knocks out
two more.

>< >< ><

Fetching back a inked paw,
hear me rapping (oh so knocking)
on
your
selladore?  (cellar door.)

Ͼ Dragonite, Dragonite Ͽ
brush the stars from your hair.

Ͼ Dragonite, Dragonite Ͽ
Words and blotches are unfair.

But then again,
scatter your inkheart, dragon boy.
.
This ones for you, Kal.
Eat the sky out, mate.

girl in the bathroom paints on her face
covering the spots on her skin
hoping to be like the others
cover it for the mornings
but reminded by the night time
knowingly she changes her looks
unknowingly she changes herself
shimmering colors reflect the lights
perfectly pinched pink cheeks
but her mascara-full lashes smear
and the wings of her eyeliner droop
she knows she'll never be like them
how could she love herself
when everything she sees in the mirror
are the things she hates most
cries as she stares at her reflection
she'll never be like the other girls
with genuine beauty and poise
but the other girls aren't authentic
they paint on their faces
to hide the real girl underneath

I just want to tell you I'm sorry.
I want to tell you all of the things I know I did wrong.
I want you to know I never meant to hurt you.
I never wanted to be that person.
I'm moving on, I'm growing up.
And it's without you,
whether I like it or not.

Without looking within
Can one truly begin
As a person to grow;
Ones mind to really know?

Without looking within
Truth is lacking wherein
Real truth not without lies,
But within us resides.

Without looking within
One is somewhat akin
To one who is half –blind;
Answers harder to find.

Without looking within
With honesty therein
How can one see the light;
Develop true insight?

Without looking within
Can one hope to begin
To attain peace of mind;
True happiness to find?

How am I supposed to know what to say,
When you're so impossibly hard to read?

I am sand.

People say rocks are,
Solid
Dependable
Unchangeable
Tell sand that.
Worn away.
Hour after hour,
Day after day.

People say rocks are,
Rigid
Firm
Strong
Tell sand that.
Crushed slowly.
Wave after wave,
Footstep after footstep.

People say rocks are,
Steadfast
Reliable
Unfailing
Tell sand that.
Drowning always,
In water and weight.
Me, I'm just drowning.
In love and lies.
In fear and anger.
In dumb human emotion.

I am sand.
This is for someone who was my best friend for six years, and now doesn't even want to talk to me. He was my rock, and now that he is gone, I am reduced to sand.
