Life may have its
ups and downs and
deep seas before
we hit dry land
But as long as
we can end up
end up happy
end up in love
No one wants to
lose to down days
but we all know
that's how life plays
So it's clear now
if we end up
instead of down,
that's the best end.

honestly, just a good beat
and a breath of air
can sometimes mean the world
to a suffocating soul.

Tread not on empty ground,
For the skies may stretch across
And the grass may abound upon the earth,
But you'll not thrive in the desert lost.

Spikes of pain are going up my arm
And my head is aching with some kind of alarm
They're all trying to tell me the one thing I know:
The inside and the outside of my body are COLD!~

You've tried a hundred times, I know,
But don't give up what you've begun;
It may be that what you seek will succeed
In try number a hundred and one.

Hope will strip you of worry,
It will give your heart a spark;
It can take away your fears:
But it needs credibility to work.

I need to breathe in
And I need to breathe out
There's no time to die
In this life I complain about.

Today I think the world has latched
Onto the climate of my soul:
For now, not only have I a shivering heart,
But all those around me are cold.

It's a relief to know
That on my trip north
I missed most of this summer's heat

But I'm still quite hot
And it's really not
Anywhere near the hottest it'll reach.

When you're walking down the loneliest road
And bad weather is before you
Don't forget that even in the hard times
Your Creator walks right beside you.

My oceans froze over
All my skies grew dark
But Your life sparked a fire
And Your hope warmed my heart.

I was going to write a poem
But I got lost
And when music captures you
It doesn't want to let you go.
