I look back on years gone by
Trying to figure out the how and why
How we clung to each other trying to easy the pain
We clung to each other in the cold November rain
The rains have come around again this year
All alone,  I'm standing here
Head held down
As this freezing cold rain splatters on the ground
Making puddles at my feet
As I travel down this dead end street
The cold penetrates my bones
For your not here, I'm all alone
Your memories can't keep me warm
Only images of you in my mind are formed
They where desperate times for you and me
But looking back I can clearly see
We where never ment to be
I was only a life raft in your troubled sea
I wish I'd known then I was just your crutch
That I didn't mean that much
For now the only sound that resounds
In this frozen heart of mine, is this cold November rain falling down

There I sat on my throne overlooking the kingdom
Arsenal of various degrees was lying all across the castle
My chest was filled with haughty air that I am the unconquerable
At that moment the door was opened and there came a lady
Her charisma astounded me and my heart skipped a beat
It was as if she cast a magical spell and made my heart feeble
She is the most beautiful women I've ever seen in my life
Like an angel, she came towards me radiating the light of endearment
She held me in her arms and with a silvery voice sang a lullaby
All my king's pride melted down and I slept happily on her shoulders
**That lady will always be my queen

I feel decompressed and lethargic,
as I continue scrolling through my online soul only to see a kind-hearted person now nostalgic.

Why can't we all feel the same?

Why does the world seem to be aflame?

It's because we all try to accomplish being perfect,
and when we spot "convicts" we don't even detect we inflict neglect.

The thought of unity is fading away as is the hippie way,
a late anniversary bouquet whittling away,
a smoking cigarette left around the ashtray, dying this midsummers day.

Why is this thought so crazy anyway?

The change starts internally,
and can only be finished by an honest community,
one where we can all live with our acquired mental immunity.

Finally, peace sets within our unity.

love is a word
love is a verb
love is not outspoken afterthoughts
it is laughs
and your hair in the wind
the flowers grazing the
tip of my nose
as I breathe you in;
it is not a melancholy vibration
overtaking my entire being
as if I am not worthy
of the word of love..
but this body made of decaying wood
and rusty bolts is no longer
the home for this lingering hopelessness
I once called home
love is a verb
that could only beg to describe your active
presence.
love is an adjective for the way I feel when you laugh over nothing and our endless sorries.
love is a noun because it is who you are
to me.

i love her tender,
i hold her tinder
i told her as her
cylinder smoldered
keep the cinder.

all you see are closed doors
And your friends don't want you no more
All that you worked hard for
Simply fades
Clears away scattered into mid air

I'm just stuck in this glass
And times running out fast
I wake up at night and I'm living in my past
It's like I want to hurt myself

Distractions don't last and
I always feel like trash
But all i see can't be what's on the other side
Right?

It was an insignificant date to her.
At least that's what she always said,
even though she'd never tell,
deep inside her heart
it was a little special.
It made her believe there's still hope,
even in the darkest and loneliest place.
She never wished for much,
just for a few gold friends
and a little of the happiness she was pretending to feel.
But tonight,
as she lays awake trying to fall deeply asleep,
and failing like every other night,
she felt a sudden need, and a new wish.
A blurry vision of an untouchable body
and a loving caress.
It was the strongest longing for the warmth
that would unfreeze her ice cold soul.
A longing for a ghost hug
that would light her existence.
Tonight, she closes her eyes,
I close my eyes,
and wish for you to break into my dreams.
You, the blue eyes and the tall figure,
the boy who was hidden,
the boy who remain ageless.
Like a God in the sky,
a sparkling star placed in the distant void,
a pair of wings that make the sun shine.
Please come inside my broken mind
and make the fear go away,
help me feel safe,
in this insignificant special date
which means nothing to me,
or at least that's what I always say.

Tick tock I hear the clock. Sweating and flaming inside the sheets, when will this nightmare become what it truly is, a dream. Not reality.

I can't awaken, not even after my best pinch, as I fall deeper into my fear I quickly realize I'm on stage. Performing for just one in the crowd, finally feeling deep inside the cringe.

Naked and afraid on the inside, appearing confident and sculpted from outside, as if made of clay.

Melting away by the second from the constant flames, liquid drops falling to the floor splashing, and crashing, as we do what seems like play.

****** ambitions always stay, but true love and relationships float away.

I can't hold onto how, or keep fighting this fight. This is just the present situation, and this girls heart won't stay together tonight.

Smashing and crumbling hearts to pieces becoming a normal routine, where the true effect is slid beneath the rug, beneath the feet of where we're *******.

Changing myself, evolving into a new chapter and turning a page.
Tired of this ****, the feeling of rage from being in a locked cage.

I will break free of this war I wage.
I will break free and stop my irrational jeer, finally, I will celebrate the moment with this lady, not the nightmare.

i feel as if happiness should come easier than this
so light, and welcoming
not so tiring, and trying
like having to train myself to accept the good thoughts
it shouldn't be this hard
i shouldn't have to swallow pills
to make all of the violence in my head stop
happiness is a choice they say, well -
it has never felt like one to me
it's a chore, a task, one i am uncertain i will ever complete
it is so fleeting

Laughing at yourself is easy.
Self deprecation is hilarious.
To others, anyway. And to you,
to an extent.

It's good to laugh at yourself,
but you've become a joke,
a punchline,
a caricature of who you
wish you were.

You're a fun house version of yourself,
disproportionate,
and ugly.
In your head you're a smart,
savvy person with a
great body.
In real life, you're dumpy,
and messy.

You feel out of control,
your thoughts are lapping you.
You're still at the
starting line.
You'll never win
this race. Accept your
participation trophy and
move on.

You're the only person
who knows what you're feeling.
And guess what?
You have no idea how to
express it.

I feel out of place
in the summertime-
oversized and awkward,
forcing smiles that
crack and peel
and pretending
that I am bold
that I am unaffected
that I am ready
as I shove black thoughts
back down into
silent fissures.

Now fall is creeping in
with great grey plumes
of september clouds
and all of those slippery
dark thoughts bubble up
and out to settle
in every corner.

And I vacillate
from mind-numbing
sorrow and overwhelming
exhaustion to
glittering highs
from the beauty of it all-
the contrast is acutely
melancholic and
sweet at once.

I pour out feelings
that stick to my canvas
and make love
in shallow pools
of moonlight
and smile at something
that feels real
and I am bold
I am unaffected
I am ready.
