Horus the Youth
Many of us wanna be trippy, Sliding through life, It is very slippery, Cutting acid with a knife, Popping shrooms like a hippy, This causes us to get high, Leave the real world and say goodbye, Saying **** our lives, Like everything was a lie, This is whats really trippy, "When you are trying to get something out of water there are ripples that appear, Never knowing if the ripples will cause it to come into reach or flout farther away."(my own quote btw) Think about that the next time you wanna say bye, Because you will miss your chance to survive!

trippy
faintly sinister smiles twitch their way across her acrobat face and as her rolling and tumbling expressions make their way through all manner of devious delight your hearts hungry eye fixes on her come hither and lets make whoopee nasty girl dress her favors are optional and she will tease but never share the ever present dangling carrot like a perfume fills the air with delights but its just air shes a happiness monger so its best if you don't displease its always a bitter mote neath the plastic vibe might as well be a rocky mountain monument little miss twisted in a little patchwork dress

hippy (hypocrite)
*The village by the sea an homage to simplicity a rare treasure of true community a place paused in time Climbing coconut trees Wells song with water for drinking, cooking to bathe and be clean A corner of the coast let it all hang out a beach side hippy retreat where nightly bonfires burned in celebration yearning for a freedom not found in their former home The Masquerade called the US of A My god parents raised me true my Madrine and Padrine speaking Konkani being free loved nurtured so pure the essence surreal A child of Goa I will always be girl in the sands with her head in the clouds I will always be a child of India no matter where I find my earthly home I will always know from whence I truly came*

Leaves crumble under unwashed trainers; silence He walks along the avenue with hands in pockets, As street lamps pave the way along the lonely avenue A Hen Party is sighted; their noisy presence noticed Out of nowhere a taxi rolls up, a casualty is claimed He gazes at the midnight stars and smiles Like a fantasy; a big bubble that hasn’t yet burst Conversing and gentle laughter picks up at the street corner, Whilst crowds of hipsters and young people dance and discuss As Friday nights go; rules are meant to be broken As this quaint little place provides an escape from it all With its neon signs and hippy vibes, Its bonsai trees and chandeliers Bikes hang from the walls and flower pots roam free He is greeted by an Ola! and a welcoming smile A piano sounds from within, a cold breeze chills his neck He rolls up his collar and enters; silence

let's disappear for a while, let go of everything we know and have. let's be carefree in the oneness of the universe letting go of fear holding on to love each other and peace. Craving the flower hippy days where everyone was chill and lay, soaking up the sun rays. REALIZATION real lie nation. let truth be the goal and destination of heart, soul craving information to create an elevation in mind. Silence = the sequel to life. Peace.

Hippie Poem
My feet are flat, my eyes are bad It hurts for me to run "you've checked out fine" the doctor said "You're in the Army, son!" It makes no sense They can't be right I've even brought a note "Stop staring son, and shut your mouth" "'before I cut your throat"! "But, Captain....sir" "I'm all 4F" "There's no way you'll want me" "Put your arm down, boy, stop salutin'" "I'm a Sargeant, don't you see?" "I'm an NCO, a working man" "Not a pencil pushing geek" "I own your life, you're mine now boy" "You long haired, hippy freak" "I've got ten weeks, to shape you up" "I'll teach you how to fight" "Now grab your gear and follow close" "And don't lose my tail lights" "Welcome to the forces folks," "Now repeat after me" "I joined up of my own free will" "I'm here voluntarily" "Select your bunk and grab some sleep" "Your new life starts at dawn "Forget about the world you know" "Now, all of that is gone." I hit the bunk and closed my eyes And was just falling asleep When in the room I heard a noise "Wake up, you  long haired creeps!" I jumped on up, as did we all Saluting was our mission "Drop your arms you maggots..now" and assume the position" "Push-ups lads, that's how you'll grow "to respect just why you're here" "Right now, though I don't smell courage boys" "Right now, I just smell fear" It took us almost half the day To do ten that were right If this alone would do me in I'd be dead before tonight.

Somewhere in your wardrobe, I'd be willing to bet There's a t-shirt probably bearing the silhouette of Che Guevara He was revolutionary, yeah, he wore a cool hat But behind the design I think you might find it's not quite as simple as that Che was a bit of a homophobe, Che was a bit of a homophobe, I think... apparently.. who knows? Che was a bit of a homophobe, Che was a bit of a homophobe This is my song in defence of the fence A little sing along, a anthem to ambivalence The more you know, the harder you will find it To make up your mind, it, doesn't really matter if you find You can't see which grass is greener Chances are it's neither, and either way it's easier To see the difference, when you're sitting on the fence Somewhere in your house, I'd be willing to bet There's a picture of that grinning hippy from Tibet - the Dalai Llama He's a lovely, funny fella, he gives soundbites galore But let's not forget that back in Tibet, those funky monks used to **** the poor, yeah And the Buddhist line about future lives is the perfect way to stop the powerless rising up And he tells the poor they will live again, but he's rich now so it's easy for him to say I'm taking the stand in defense of the fence I got a little band playing anthems to ambivalence We divide the world into terrorists and heroes Into normal folk and weirdos Into good people and pedo's Into things that give you cancer and the things that cure cancer And the things that don't cause cancer, but there's a chance they will cause cancer in the future We divide the world to stop us feeling frightened Into wrong and into right and Into black and into white and Into real men and fairies Into status quo and scary Yeah we want the world binary, binary But it's not that simple. And your dog has a bigger carbon footprint than a four wheel drive Yea your dog has a bigger carbon footprint than a four wheel drive And your dog has a bigger carbon footprint than a four wheel drive And so does your baby, maybe you oughta trade HIM in for a Prius- ROCK! I'm taking the stand in defence of the fence I got a little band playing tributes to ambivalence We divide the world into liberals and gun-freaks Into atheists and fundies Into tee-tot'lers and junkies Into chemical and natural Into fictional and factual Into science and supernatural But it's actually naturally not that white and black You'll be Dividing us into terrorists and heroes Into normal folk and weirdos Into good people and pedos Into things that give you cancer and the things that cure cancer And things that don't cause cancer, but there's a chance they will cause cancer in the future We divide the world to stop us feeling frightened Into wrong and into right and Into black and into white and Into real men and fairies Into parrots and canaries Yeah we want the world binary, binary - 011101! I know this vampire Clarence, He is a hippy vamp, He never wears dark cloaks, Or wanders like a ***** This ghoul is non confomist, His clothes are sunshine bright, His fingernails are azure blue, His favourite drink is sprite. His blood comes from the blood banks, He files his fangs twice weekly, His friends are *** head hippies, And , ****** he sleeps so sweetly. He enjoys sleepovers with his girlie friends, And loves to bathe in milk, His coffin looks more like a scoobydoo van, All covered with pink silk. Im looking forward to halloween, His parties are the best, We boogie, all liquered up, So next day, we can rest.

Alice was a hippy girl whimsical and free spirited in dalliance with imagination. Living in a trippy world and a psychedelic dream. Where life was fluffy and free from the restraints of responsibility. Her thoughts drifting always questioning. Far out man. Always in her daydream bubble partying for peace and love, keeping her soul out of trouble. In nonsense rhyme and hallucinogenic vibe, creating her own escape. And all the while her rabbit with an anxiety problem, would tell her he was going to be late. She nibbled on cakes that she laced, with her boyfriend and together they embraced their Wonderland. Grinning like Cheshire cats hand in hand spiralling, out of control down rabbit holes. Far out man. Always in her daydream bubble partying for peace and love, keeping her soul out of trouble in nonsense rhyme and hallucinogenic vibe creating her own escape And all the while her rabbit with an anxiety problem would tell her he was going to be late. Spending their days in wonder in unknown potions drunk they would ponder the meaning of life, in playing cards talking with ***** smoking caterpillars and mocking turtles on a beach. Reality so far out of reach. Far out man. Always in her daydream bubble partying for peace and love, keeping her soul out of trouble in nonsense rhyme and hallucinogenic vibe creating her own escape And all the while her rabbit with an anxiety problem would tell her he was going to be late. Alice was a hippy girl whimsical and free spirited. Wishing for a different world, escaping in kaleidoscopes. Mind blowing and free. The truth smashed down her house of cards in responsibility, and she had a date with reality in actuality reality eventually Growing up man. Always in her daydream bubble partying for peace and love, keeping her soul out of trouble in nonsense rhyme and hallucinogenic vibe creating her own escape And all the while her rabbit with an anxiety problem would tell her he was going to be late. Hippy Hipsters
I like making plans I know I won't make, I just like they're there.   It's sort of like how we prepare in our cars with airbags.   Sometimes we thank God they're there. I like waiting at bottoms of skyscrapers to catch cripples' stares on stairs. It's living up to a dare trying to walk with one leg, one crutch going up, look at their Stares on stairs. It wasn't a hippy in tie dye that gave me that squabbled piece of peace. It was a horrid beast who claimed I was the first to not shoot, he gave me his last Piece of peace. I didn't like the tone of his voice when he said you can't bare the bear Even outside the lair you'll shave his fur and run your hands in your hair, you can't bare the bear. I have years of your wind pattern because my vane detects vain in your veins.

Hers was the first face I found freshman year at FSU. I'll always remember that garish orange and green gator shirt, and pin with the picture of a bulldog, hanging from a noose. I thought, oh Jeez, she's got school spirit, and I shuddered at the image, of cheerleaders, and sports stars, recieving preferential treatment, but my first impression was far from the mark. She had a smile for miles and eyes to match. And a laugh that could shatter a frown. And she laughed any chance she got. The few pictures I have left of her, she is laughing and smiling in each... That big toothy smile, and that magical laugh... I remember the first time she kissed me. I was playing my guitar on campus, back when everybody did it, not just pretentious ********** trying to show off. She came up behind me, and did the old hands over the eyes routine, and of course I knew her voice immediately. She turned my head and kissed me, for the first time, and I could hear the whispering, and feel everyone's eyes on me, and it felt pretty **** good. How I wished someone had snapped a picture, for the FSView, with the caption " Future valedictorian kisses scruffy hippy freshman. Entire student body baffled." I was baffled. She was the talk of the campus, she spoke her mind always, and she was active all over the campus, doing this and that. I asked her one day, "Why do you make your life so complex, when do you rest?" and she said "My life used to be complex, because I made it that way. But believe it or not, with all I do around campus, really my life is simple and fun. If I didn't love what I am doing I would stop Will. Life is too short for complexity." I laughed, and I thought to myself, this woman is more complex than she lets on. We went out for my entire freshman year, but she graduated my sophmore year, and she got a job in London, and she moved away that summer. I said I would visit...I never did.. She said she would write...she did, once, to tell me she was getting married, she even invited me, but of course I didn't go.. She enclosed a photo of her and her fiance, and it was clear what she saw in him.. he had a smile almost as big as hers, and of course she was smiling too.. Of all the images burned into my memory that picture is the one that hurts me most. I wrote back, wishing her luck, and I told her I couldn't come, I never heard from her again, but I prayed that night, that he would treat her right, and if he took away her smile, I prayed he would suffer, until he put it back. Every time I close my eyes, I see that picture... that smile... I hope she's smiling, even as I write these words.
