It's possible to be aware of nothing anymore
and let yourself walk freely through the human you adorn

the sky provides for everything to grow and weather all
but people who uproot themselves can never take the fall

I see them lying everywhere, in piles and in droves
collecting like a breath of air inside a cloud of smoke

and every day they breathe their last, as least that's what they say
because of your anatomy you cannot walk away

So here you are a seventh time forgetting who you be
and every single chance you've had to faithfully believe
every single cell in our skeleton is replaced every 7 years

When you're only twenty,
Two years are a long time
But remember always
That now you're in your prime
And fifty years from now
The choices you must make
Today will have taken
Much more that is at stake.
It's fine to be lonely;
Don't you fear the moment;
Take care of your future;
Stay strong in the present;
Play on your own heart strings,
Listen to its soft sound,
Embrace its melody,
Just dance to it, around...
You're bound to make mistakes,
You'll scream and laugh and cry,
You'll look back at this but
You won't ask yourself why .

Birthdays
Celebrating when we took our first breath
Counting the years
Until our death
My birthday was a few days ago so that's where I got my inspiration

I don't have the need to live for a zillion years
Or a billion, or a million, or a hundred and five
Just living through today is plenty enough

You hold upon your lips lines to poems I have been trying to finish for years.

in all my years of living
i have learned
that nobody stays as long as they promise to

i pack my life
the past 8 years
into boxes
and into a car
and as i drive off
i realize how
little and insignificant
you are in these years
and yet,
you were the most important memory.
We moved and everything reminded me of you.

It's not really a long time
to some people,

In perspective,
the length of
the average life,

something like sixty,
seventy years

or in some cases
something like one
hundred and two
give or take a few

some poor *******
live into the hundred
and teens

How unfortunate,
How unlucky,
what sins must you commit
to be trapped here
that long

Living every day
waiting on death
like children wait
for the swing set

It's a long time
to me.

In my perspective
it's not three years,

it's not thirty-six months,

it's not one hundred
fifty-six weeks,

one thousand sixty-
eight days,

twenty-five thousand,
six hundred
thirty-two hours,

one million,
five hundred thirty-
seven thousand,
nine hundred-
twenty minutes.

In my perspective it's,
ninety-two million,
two hundred seventy-
five thousand,
two hundred seconds

of missing your first
steps,
not knowing your favorite
food,
not reading you Goodnight
Moon,
missing your Second,
Third,
Fourth birthdays,

not hearing
one hundred
twenty-six
million

heart beats.

It's pain that scares
the gods,

that demands
absolution,

and one day
when you read this

Know that I loved you.
Know that I missed you.
Know that once we find
each other again

I hope I'm a lucky *******,
sinless and pure,
that lives to see
one hundred
and twenty,
then we can share our perspectives
on three lost years

No more years.
To cry those  tears.
No more beers
To drowned  my Fears.
Its time to kick it into gear.
Now say cheers.
With  your fellow peers.
