dial the number...

you need to stop living in the past and move on.
all those worries. all that pain.
i know your thinking of someone or something.
take it and put it in the past.

pick someone today.
forgive them.
forgive them for every pain they have caused you, send them love and kindness.
hopefully it will be a chain affect.

spread the love

worries and fears
make for strange bedfellows -
they hold your hand,
as if to soothe you,
and then whisper into your ears
a long list of names
of the people who loathe you.

i try not to be bitter,
i try to escape mental quicksands.
but here's when i don't mind
being called a quitter,
at least i have time,
and my own heart in
my own hands.

when my bedfellows turn
to talk to me in the dead of night,
i turn too - a blind eye,
no indication of despair or delight.
it is better that they rest
in a bed together,
i'd like to run as far away as possible -
the less i know,
the better.

The sun went down,
blue clouds were gone,
the sky turned black,
lit up by a distant rock.
Stars as far as the eye can see,
I gifted one to each of my worries,
before long it was a starless sky,
but my worries continued to multiply.
I looked up at my friend in solitude,
the moon was laughing at me, so rude.

"So you are laughing at my expense?"
'I am laughing at the ridiculousness,
you had such a beautiful scenery,
sold it all to think about your worry,
now you sit here losing your present,
lost in your made up moments.
If only you could realise,
worries are a mind's cruel lies,
the worst things rarely come true,
yet they rule your mind fool.'

Maybe this stupid moon has a point,
I'll forget about my worries just for tonight,
One by one my worries fly,
the stars are back in the sky.
The moon had a smile bigger than before,
one day I will hear a knock at my door,
but whatever may happen does not matter,
as long as I have my company and laughter.

I wash my hands,
And wring them dry,
Watching my worries,
Disappear with the grey water,
Down the plughole of life.
‘You can’t wring your hands and roll up your sleeves at the same time.’

When I'm with you
My worries
My cares
My wounds
Blows away
Gone like a kite
With its string held
In your grasp

If the rain can pound down as I lay in my bed,
minuscule mishaps and **** in my head,

why can the rain then, not reach in my brain?
Pound at the worries,
wash away pain?

The rain comes to visit again and again;
whether a friend or a foe, I couldn’t explain.

I took a selfie today, on the swing
For some reason I've been taking them all week
Bored at the grocery store
No motivation in my room
A smile,
constantly displaying my bulging acne,
like little polka dots
marring my-
Smile a little strained,
Unable to release or

Just no

I took a selfie today, on the swing
The swing obviously more suitable for my ten year old brother
Left behind by one of the previous occupants
Quite low to the ground,
Meant for children                        Not
a teenager searching for an escape
Making a fool of herself
Back and forth              back and forth                    back and-

I took a selfie today, on the swing
And it's the prettiest I'd ever been

What's gone is gone, i say,
Yet,
What's coming, feels the same.
Regrets and mistakes,
A life, on stakes.
Past Haunts me,
Future Scares me,
Present, is where i want to be.

What i did, resents me.
What i'll do, will represent me.
A life on the line,
Dangling hopes,
I wish, were mine.
Past Haunts me,
Future Scares me,
Present, is where i want to be.
Modern life is a life of worries, anxiety and pressure. Dont forget to smile & breathe. Listen to your mind every now and then. You might be surprised with your own capabilities.

When I'm sad and lonely,
I go to God in prayer;
I know that He will hear me,
in His Throne Room, He is there.
~
I cast my cares upon Him,
and He listens intently;
He cares about my burdens,
as I cast them at His feet.
~
When my heart is broken,
I go to Him in tears;
"Hush now, my dear child,"
as He takes away my fears.
~
This is how I live my life,
taking one day at a time;
Just knowing God is there for me,
eases my heart and mind.

Crouched beneath empty blocks of office
Two wrinkled hands formed of clay,
open the closed sky with gnarled fingers
eyes as beautiful as a Christmas girl's, without gifting, sob
Sometimes i really miss being a kid
Kids know no stress
Kids have no worries
Just a smile on our faces soft as petals of the frangipani,
nature enjoys us as much as her simplicity
But now I am stressed
Occupied with enough worries
And sometimes I look back at the past
And wish I was still in kid
