I sit here
in the dark
lost in thoughts,
torn apart.

There is blood
on my hands
of my foes,
of my friends.

As I look at each finger,
I let memories linger.

Only blood
know my hands โ€“
of my foes,
of my friends.

I am death,
unworthy
of your love,
your mercy.

Yet, you kiss every finger.
Your kind warmth, your breath linger.

Iโ€™m still here
in the dark,
but in you
I see light.

Long gone were the times where
we serenade with such love and promise,
the time where you prove everything to show it
in hopes of them reciprocating your calling

Now was when we give gifts, and chocolates,
along with a sea of flowery compliments
A simple "I love you." would do it,

While some prefer that comforting silence,
quiet but genuinely loving.

Keeping Warm

The impatience for the beginning of us
Keeps me warm on cold winter nights

I light a match
just to see the flame
feel the warmth.
I blow it out
just to feel some power
over anything in my life.
I PROMISE IM NOT A PYROMANIAC LOL

Magic beans and fairytale lattes
ease your burdens, supply you with strength.
To survive through yet one of your Mondays,
sip the warmth and release a held breath.

A warm hearted women falls for cold silver armour.
She wraps herself around him and says he's warm
But its just the warmth of her own breathe that she really feels
She can hammer and stab at him but it won't pierce
Only until he's ready to take it off will she see who he truly is.
But he's scared to do so as she is already in love with the cold silver armour.

summer slipped through like a snapshot in time
and in the midst of this chaos we call life
i've lived a little and learned a bit more

so if the price of faint crow's feet aligning with my eyes
are a couple of scars and a couple of cut strings
i'd do all it over again just to feel this happy

A warm touch
To the aching heart
Seizes all thought

A nervous rush
Cycling deep inside
Hushed to sleep

By the memories
You emit sight unseen
Into my dreams

-The Neglected woman.

I was an overlooked
Dahlia,
Trampled without a care
For my welfare.

Then you plucked me
And replanted me within
Your keep.

With care,
You nourished an invisible outcast.

At last!
Someone gives a
**** about me!

In the sunlight of Washington park
I write
Gold flicks and reflects
along my hair
My skin hot from rays
of warmth
over a prolonged moment
of peace
