Walk in familiar slippers
Walk when walking’s spent
Walk on hollow highway
Walk in a birthday dress
Walk under frigid stars
Walk with ancestral song
Walk with right
Walk with wrong
Walk in spite
Walk in pity
Walk in the backstreets
Walk in the news
Walk in borrowed city

Home is leaving
Home is a journey
Home is coloured pencils
For a distant classroom
Home is a wilderness
Home is an army
Home is inquisition
Home is another way
Home is a haven
Home is a promise
Home is a rose bed
Home is tomorrow
Home is hard
Home is good

Simon Piesse
This poem is inspired by the continuing ill-treatment in thought, word and deed, of refugees in the UK, notably children.
Camera, lights, action...
Wake up, get up and don't forget to stay up.
Sway n walk but remember not to drop,
this is what we are going to call fashion.
Bring your hips left to right, stand up tall
and try not to fright. Bright lights up in it,
cause every gentleman loves to stare as the
senorita walks up the stairs in her high stilettos.
Smell of fresh fabric and the grip of leather tights,
take it and wear it because tonight you're the Queen
of the ball baby, coming out through the dark light.
We want fashion, poise and something to call Sensuous.
Do the cat walk
Strike a pose and tip to your toes,
cause tonight is fashion.
Competitive looks and reading books, you know you're in
it for the game to win it.

Dear Nat,
come back to bed!

walk my hallways,
then upon my shoulder sleep,
rest in my nooks
soft, well worn, cosy crannies,
let your face go slack,
get back jack,
to where you always belong

I know too well
what ails thee,
and know no answers easy,
found walking around
an old creaky house's
groaning discordant concordance
of mystery sounds

do come back to bed!
I'll call you babe,
kiss those temples
rock 'n rolling,
soothing  them with
adagio classics from
the 1950's

I'll think of something
just back, bed bunk with me
your roommate of sole
****** sunset years

let you write poems on my tummy,
gurgling with the pleasure of
skin and words tender entwining,
just come back to bed,
pillow deep, fund the sleep
you desperate need,
from my countenance and body,
yours, no needy for asking,
just take what you're needing,
be my man,
be my child,
and come back to bed,
my still crazy man
after all these years,
before leaving me
sleepy smiling,
from a job well done

Walk with me beyond the sunset
and let's sip the sweet ferment of the day,
the pungent lung nectar of Summer's first night.
In her beautiful darkness the world contracts
and expands like June fireworks, heard unseen
behind the measureless shadow trees.
Walk with me here while time rests his tread
leaving the sky to stars and dreams.

walk firmly looking up front as if there was no problem
i walk in front of you because i want you to see how fix i am like a rubiks cube.
i want you to look at me in the eye while i walk passed you. and i want you to remember how you messed-up every color in my life.
i want to tell you a story of how much morphine i took just to numb the pain i holding, while you seem like nothing happened.

i remember the pain i'm holding, while you holding someone hands.
while you are content and i'm not
while i'm suffering in this pain like a fire, burning in my heart.

i want you to remember the memories. the memories that haunt you till the rest of you life.
i want you to look at me in the eye and look down on me and walk passed by
past is a lesson. don't live in past

DEAR PENPAL PEOPLE, don't be fooled please:)

if fear was an actor
he would be a walk of hope in specks of despair
an undeniable attractor

disguised in a dress
maybe a dull maybe a shine
of extravagant happiness

shaded in deceived colors of enthusiasm
pretentious upon the safe shallows of death
killing a devilish grin with pure sarcasm

keep walking until you reach it.
it's better than late than never.

I enter a voiceless Forrest
quiet
           as after ******

it awaits a wind
                     to disturb
its brooks
          to run full babble
and the creatures
                 to muster bravery
and reveal themselves

Caught unawares
I feel I may have embarrassed it
I shall return later for my walk

He awakens to a day of hope
after happy day of birth
attended by smiling parents proud
who know his priceless worth

He awakens to a day of hope
lying restless on his ***
after one move that surprises him
he ends up on his tum

He awakens to a day of hope
on his tum going nowhere fast
flailing arms and legs eventually push
now he's on all fours at last

He awakens to a day of hope
wobbling steadily as best he can
one hand forward followed by knee
then other knee and hand

He awakens to a day of hope
rising quickly on all fours
wide-eyed and giggling all the way
crawling fast across the floors

He awakens to a day of hope
finally standing on his own
weeks to months and months to years
now a family of his own
