I have yet to see freedom
In classrooms where
Checkmarks win over the students

ANO BA?! PUTANGINA!
TIGIL NA KAYO.

"Today we do not need another lost generation because no generation is lost, and in this ******* school system , where memory is all that is exploited, there are different minds , ladies and gentlemen, we have forgotten the passion and our heart lives caged, our imagination is stuck in a can of Campbell , and the illusion is bottled in cardboard bottles produced in series."

Verdicts flung out even without gavels in their hands
Justice's muse fumbles in the dark
Her scales tipping to one side
As partiality has become more burdensome
One failure makes a person
One flawed idea creates a prison of belief
Everyone acts as the jury
Playing criticism like a big survival game
No winners, all self-appointed judges
Took me a lot of time to finish this and I am not even happy with how it turned out. So much for a third (or fourth) draft.

A mist withers our eyes
From a destructive what is
Cloaked by the manipulation of fear
The obsessive consumption of greed
The yield of inequality
Blessing the treacherous snake
that is society
Protecting the overbearing tower of hierarchy

We are the rising hope
and the colossal downfall
Of an era so entrenched with fools' promises
and wicked minds
It is not anymore righting a wrong
so much as righting a system of wrong
Once a system of good
Which should have foretold better times
Meant to have put everything in place
But has left in its wake
A black hole that took everything
Right in all of us
In everything worth believing, worth hoping
The kind of thoughts and poems that come to me while I'm in the shower

Heart cannot be purchased
As currency is matter of no use
Only one can succeed
Who deals in barter system!

Dry and weary is the sun

without it’s jovial color, but a bright void.

It’s all poor tricks, thick masks that shield the

pain and sorrow of being so

beautiful but

alone.

A colorless rainbow in a sky of imagination,

a camera-less tourist on a summer vacation.

A cloud without rain, but a sky without sunshine,

a constellation for admiration for a blind man's cloud nine.

A stemless flower in a competitive ecosystem,

the prey born with one leg, the predator without any eyes.

... a chaotic compromise.

A mannequin selling fashion and deadly sins,

a homeless man searching through trashcan bins.

A chalkboard without a budget, a teacher without hope,

the Valedictorian hanging from a rope.

It's just mental complexity like congested New York city,

daily traffic jams with mental crams, and I don't take pity.

Flash flood warning, a fair reason to vent.

Drowning those who don't appreciate how much time I have spent.

Tears of a stranger, throw me some lemons and a stand,

time to sell drama out in the front yard to prove that the supply isn't up to its demand.

Blurred vision, bullet proof heart, it's just a decision,  it's time to start.

Appreciating a rainbow in a storm of dark rage,

the pessimistic cold skin attached to a fairy tale sage.
When this was first written, I felt such a euphorically intense feeling as I was writing everything down. This is only an excerpt. All those moments when you feel as if you should let it go, never hold back. If it doesn't make sense, just let it go.
