is it only me or everyone think:
" Sun die every night for moon.
and the moon brings him back to life every morning."
Harry Gione Jan 2024
Put me in the shade in the middle of the day
Because I don't like the way the light hits my face
But in a light breeze when things aren't so hot
And there are clouds overhead in little white spots
Thats when I feel like I'm living the most
Because life is mostly sunny with a hint of the cold

Yesterday I noticed a few blonde hairs mixed in my chestnut brown hair

They blend in until I looked closer
Little strands barely there

They reminded me of when when I was a child

Sunny hair and a freckled face
Bright blue eyes and an always smile
Big front teeth and rosy pink lips

I forget what it felt like to have blonde hair
I forgot what it was to feel free

I know my childhood was not all smiles
Mostly rainy days and hiding away

But I cherish the moments when the sun came out
And I laid in the dewy grass talking to the trees

I remember now how I loved my blonde hair
That glowed under the shining stars

I remember now how I smiled when I looked in the mirror
Loving my reflection, my whole self

Now as I stare at those few blonde hairs
I remember how beautiful I can be
I remember the child that still lives within me

I hope she never leaves

rising
from an ocean of obsidian blue
i spy consciousness,
blazing brighter than a billion suns,
fine tuning all it touches.

the blue god is neither awake
nor in slumber
but in a meditative trance.
in his effervescent presence
time turns to ice,
as an orange-lotus blooms
deep within me.

Bathed in the amber light
I watch these fields in slumber
Resting beneath scattered snow
As the music crescendos.

The mountains gleam in the distance
But every crevice and branch
Is coated in gold
Like a remnant of Midas’ touch.

Peace washes over me
A purifying, gentle force.
The sky’s tender blue
Kisses the horizon.
My Dear Poet Jan 2024
the wind whispered me a secret
and I hid it from the sun
buried beneath the shade of a shadow
only till the passing light is done

yet a falling star flickered a rumour
till all sparkled the same lie
whispers spread across the heavens
and a black veil covered the sky

the secret lay buried in dark deception
amidst the still night of hidden lies
where the stars shine in secrecy
as to why the sun will no longer rise

Deify me, I illuminate your world.
I shine like your luminous guardian angel.
In the cosmos, I am your adored arch-angel.
I awake to brighten a lack-luster morning.
I always your routine activities herald.
I glitter for the flora to have their fill,
so do I for men to energize their mill.
Of the ocean currents I keep on warning.
I make the flora lush for medicine and food.
I awake for the globe's universal good,
and sleep at even with a sated crimson smile.
I pave the way for the silver and dew for a while.
The globe's life would cease without my needful presence.
Of the firmament, I am the very essence.
A poem about the Sun
Pax Jan 2024
as i am nearing the edge of our fading sun,
as our world is one big aquarium,
- full of life...
me, surviving the best i can, alone...
i thought i never long for that new life
born between my seeds,
all i knew is that i am okay, alone...
     no plan to plant,
just a fading list of the evading daydream...
     it's okay - everythings alright,
there's time, still,
   even if it never arrive,
     it's still alright
         for all the right
         reasons...
me trying to be positive in all things...

Feeling bold, I walked into the garden

- where i saw the fireflies, the light posts, the moon shining down

- the moon gave a direction, the lights upped the way, fireflies spiraled through me in the wind

- seeing a bridge illuminated, two koi directly under it had been circling each other in a dance

- i walked across, and through my footsteps, did the rain droplets in that pond ripple time

- the fireflies fell first, the light posts shorted out, the moon left orbit

|dimming|shrinking|flickering|

Fading. The koi were disappearing, my footsteps slowed to a halt before the coming darkness. And before I forgot what they looked like - they all merged and flashed.

Bursting white, hot, light,

+ bleeding gold, the sun broke the sky

I look for you in the sunlight,
the constant rays of sunshine
reporting to my soul through astral planes
for you, for all of you, creation.
For all of humanity to witness and experience,
the world feels us, fed by the light we bring.
My love for you radiates
because you are my sun.
For CBM of Dublin sent with a thousand kisses 💋🦋❤️You know where to put them
