World as you end,
...same as the start.
Oh the indescribable beauty!
See the metaphor?
See?

Hunter Green Oct 2018
I could cast my gaze toward anyone,
but connection comes in small moments of understanding:
When we direct our attention long enough to contemplate the colors,
To regard the size of the darkness we see the world from.
Sometimes we only catch a hit-and-run,
But when it sticks, when souls connect, and we see the other for who they really are,
It leaves me with something I can't forget,
My mind has yet to find a greater but just as simple communication in adoration of another creation.
There's something powerful in the one-on-one,
Undeterred by surrounding crowds or events in motion all around,
Eyes still meet and lock, no passing thing can break their talk.
With every burning second the mirrored sensation of optical reception resembles the sweet weariness of a Nordic midnight sun.
And then it breaks as thoughts swirl in passion heated from skylights.
The warmth runs through the whole body, just seconds filling every cold spot.
As the windows close no one knows, but those dark spots and colors burn in the silence.
I think you may understand, relate in some way, but in reality these words aren't for everyone.

I can breathe again
I can see again
But now someone can could look in
They might slightly see through my walls

to be in the l i g h t

she cannot change
the way they see
do you see me
from the trees the grow above me
that grow out to the vineyards
across the dirt-risen floor
yearning for the sunlight
to love once again
as I dwell on thoughts
coasting along the river
confessing out loud
to the dried sunflowers
and the ultralight beams
walking on water with
the thorns on my feet
calling out to heavens above.

It's bittersweet how you become
the love I see in my eyes
yet the pain I feel in my heart
at the same time.

As I am entering another realm.
My mind like a falcon takes the helm.
My body finds a bright hue
Just so I could find you

I wanted to find the alluring.
Come to together for love that is occurring.
Only because of nature we are stirring.
We have a magnificent fray that is appearing.

You taught me how to fly.
With my wings soaring high.
Your love was blind.
With my shadow following down from the sky.

The light that followed so bright.
I was an outcast in the others sight.
You took me in while others thought I was frightful.
Taught me things I did not know were possible.

We were not the righteous.
Although what we received money can not buy us.
Can we stay aflight forever.
Be unrespected never.

We can hold hands.
Far away from the others we can.
Only one person is meant for me.
In that I truly see.

It doesn’t matter if I’m dancing in
The center floor

Or pressed against the wall
Like a flower

You never see me anyways
