‘Name your favourite poem’ - he asked,
I said -
‘I cannot,
For there are so many poems I haven’t read
And there are as many remaining unwritten,
Including mine.
Do not ask me to close my mind,
Ask me about the poems I admire,
Seek the reason why I do so.
Thoughts and expression vary,
They are incomparable;
No one can grade them
This much you know.’

There is one thing
That everyone wants
Whether they show it
Or hide it
The one thing
That everyone craves
Is love

Everyone desires love
And there are different kinds
That different people want
Like the romantic love
That a husband and wife share
Or the caring love
That a Mother gives to a child

When you go looking
For whatever type of love you want
Always remember one thing
And never forget
Or ignore
Or push away
The one that loved you first
And will always love you

Love
It's a drug
Once you get a taste of it
You’ll always crave for more
It’s Valentines month! I love love.

I bought myself a pencil.
I had a lot to write.
I bought myself a notepad too
it was a gleaming white.

I started to write upon it
but the words were very faint.
I went back to the paper shop
to tell them my complaint.

With the pencil in his hand
the shopkeeper scratched his head
and said “you need to change this
for a darker form of lead.”

I asked him most politely
with no hint of aggression
“2B or not 2B, " I said
"that has to be the question"

If you open a door
And He closes it
You have to look
For someone
Who opens the door
When you closes it
