Meant so much to me

How I have often wondered
Why my life is
The way it is

As I wander the streets of my city

I am a lover of the light
Whether it be daylight
Or moonlight

I would walk a 1,000 miles
Just to see a glimpse
Of her smile

To be honest Nicole
You are incredibly beautiful

I hope you find someone
Worthy of you
Someone to treasure you

I would gladly be your scribe
Recording your words
Of wisdom
On parchment if I could

She stands for solidity
A force to be reckoned with
Her name comprised of two syllables
Ebbing and flowing effortlessly like ships on a calm sea
Unmistakable beauty radiates
While people are drawn to her presence like a moth to a flame
This girl has a spark which is derived from her selfless soul
The way her eyes smile when she speaks
A true taste of simplicity.
Radiance, compassion
A true friend to have

The girl who came from the sea.

The morning face
Aglow with warmth
Darkness paves way
To a bright new day
Gossips of the night
Under the starry world
Without inhibitions
Wanton hearts danced
Forayed into darkness
To steal into the secrets
Unwrapped souls
Heartening pleasures
Two reckless souls
Lay there, waiting for new day
To renew the night’s pact
Kissing the morning face
Quivering lips welcome
Beautiful dreams come alive
The crimson blush
Reminds of a fervent appeal
Another day
Shall slip into the night
As will two souls cusp
Yearning for a union
Till, another day beckons

before you I believed I was simply a fleck of dirt in the garden of some lonely life,
until you nourished me with sweet nothings and terms of endearment.
you made me see that i was in fact a seed that could produce the most wild things,
and decorate the world with my radiance.

You are a child of the Universe.
The pith of your heart and the atoms in your skin
have existed since the beginning of time.
You have an unquestionable right to live.
You are integral and vital.
Your steps grace the Earth with your presence just as,
the Earth graces your feet with its presence when you walk.
Your identity is a facet of humanity just as,
your body is a temporary expression of the Universe.
You can never truly die.
When you choose to accept this,
you may dwell in radiance.

little yellow flowers in her ears
and they trundled along the gravel path,
when their bellies grumbled
from a day spent lying atop
a small hill near the golf course
radiance from the setting
rays of sunlight shown
a haunting sordid undertone
that a young boy in love
just never would have known.
