Don’t forget to blink
he told me with a wink
as I drank that drink
and began to think
is he my shrink?
He has my same ink
and he’s wearing the same pink
things are too in sync
what was in that drink?
I need to find a sink
get somewhere where it doesn’t stink
but anywhere I go I find the same link
it has me on the brink
it’s time to rethink
it’s time we fully interlink

I want to write a poem
But where should I start?
Do I have to start with I
or should I end with You?
8th. Hey i'm back. Hope y'all appreciate it.

i've been looking for
myself so often that

i forgot about the first time
i forgot about the last time
Today is a good day.

once again
that simple question
pops up again
do you really mean?
with constant compliments
and previews of puppy love
do you really mean it?
maybe paranoid
maybe scared of what happiness
you could bring me
the question quietly
snakes it's way into my mind
do you really mean it?
my habit second guessing with a little bit of self distruction put into some word

Hold me together
We’re almost there
Tangled and taut
Do we have time?

Rip, rip, rip!
Red glazed paper
Cling, cling, cling!
The falling sugar
Whirr, whirr, whirr!
Grinding of the beans
Stir, stir, stir!
Till the surface gleams
Drip, drip, drip!
Dripping black ocean
Sip, sip, sip!
The bitter decoction

Sweetheart
Ain't it sweet enough
To believe there's someone we're made for
But it's never enough sugar
in that sachet
Why does love last as long as it's paid for?
Happy Valentine's day, poets.

Why do you write?
Is it an outlet?
A message?
Or is it for attention?

Me?
I write to write.
To share and to show.
if anyone wants to answer be my guest

No legend needs
February air
To confess
What they mean

Twice upon a time
If they ask
The same
"Single?"
"Are you single?"
Just for once
Reply

"No"
"I am divine."
Genre: Observational
Theme: I don't belong here.
