There is too much depth
into their hearts
Is this a punishment
or a test?
Too much problems
at a time
Is it all from the ones
Who ruined second chances
Is it because of us
Letting them walk free?
Thought bringing justice
Might lighten the depth
Instead
Their hearts hardened
Without practice of fear
Instead
They put fear in ours
Afraid to walk freely
Criminals shall not be set free just because they served their time in prison. they must be investigated for future actions.

REPENT ALL SINNERS
WASH YOURSELF
TIL YOU'RE WHITE AS SNOW
PRAY UNTIL TEARS COME STREAMING DOWN
LIKE A RIVER OF BITTERSWEET TEARS

DON'T LAUGH
BECAUSE YOU WON'T BE IN COURT
YOU'LL BE SOBBING AND SOBBING
BEGGING FOR MERCY
BEFORE THE KING OF KINGS
THE JUDGE OF JUDGES

HOPE YOU'RE CRYING
BECAUSE I CERTANLY AM
AT THE HEARTLESSNESS
THE HOPELESSNESS
THE DEPRESSION OF THE HUMAN RACE
it ****** me off at how many heartless killers, murderers and kidnappers just laugh at their sentences and at their victim's families and friends who are just crying over their sweet child, mother, father, sibling, friend.

Dear Amelia,
It's different; everything
I’m so sorry
I can't see you anymore
I’m afraid
I can only see the squalor
My face has changed
with lines of age
And carved with lines of ink
While the cross I wear
Proves me a sinner
A single tear
Convicts me a murderer
But I am safe now behind the razor wire
A lifetime of safety… without parole
Sounds like something I’d trade
For a small red balloon
A syringe and a spoon
Are you eating?
Are you sleeping?
Are you walking yet?
Are you dreaming?
If you close your eyes
You can see me the way I used to be
But if you open them
I become a lachrymose monster
So dearest Amelia
Close your eyes

None of us gets paroled

From the prison cells we lock ourselves into.

So that we all can fit together inside

These jigsaw lives that we lead
.

Which  of course, eventually all blow apart.
We are merely the fragments waiting to be reassembled.

Every moment of thought is but a small drop in time.

Each piece fits the next piece.

Although we may try to avoid,

The murmurs of our own thoughts.

It is our hearts that yawn and awaken slowly

From their long winter night’s sleep.

You and I are mere mortals,

Who dreamt of a life without end.

We are the ones who make up immortality.

For the sake of seeking sweet comforts and sad joys.

This is the story we tell ourselves
Whilst slumping back to our cells.

Inert.
Weighed down,
And buoyed up simultaneously.
Life does that sometimes:
It ties balloons to your feet.
Gray, iron balloons
To hold you down.

Dangle desire in front of me.
Sway it side to side.
Hypnotize me with charms,
And convince me that I'm happy
Just the way I am:
Alone.

Rise and make haste
To the display of human waste!
Stand amazed at the hate
That I deserve in my disgrace!
I have taken
What is precious,
And I've given it to waste.
I destroyed
What is dear
In a fit of sightless rage.
This scrabbled page
Is all I have
From our halcyon days.
I know for sure,
That forever,
Life will never be the same.

I am ashamed.

Men in black guarded the gates
Leading to where they call hell
A large building with corridors
Rooms that waste hours of time
The men shut the black gates
From behind my shaking back
I start my day's sentence

I'm in the winding corridors
Hearing a young girl cry far away
Another few words of hate
Tossed at her pretty face as usual
Yet the headmaster doesn't care

A boy is walking nearby me
He has a black eye and a nose
Streaming a waterfall of blood
His body littered with bruises
Another one suffering from abuse
From fellow prison immates
And his own kindly parents
Yet the teachers don't care
What kind of educators are they?

We learn things we already knew
Is brainwashed into forgetting
Our fractions and subtracting
Turning into loneliness and dread
And adding our depression levels
Dividing our energy down
And multiplying our confusion

Panic attacks our brains and
We don't know what's coming
A test by writing a story
An essay or even a ramble
Or knowing scientific facts
That we probably won't need
Apart from if you like science

I stare out the window
Dreaming of a classroom
Filled with freedom and love
Songs and poetry and dancing
Playing with words
Not planning a story before
We touch the ****** pen

But now we are birds in cages
Ready to sing our song
As the old writer in his chair says

“ how can a bird born for joy
Sit in a cage and sing? ”

But what is the answer?
No one knows
I like my education
Bit seriously school feels like a prison to me.

Time does not heal every gaping sore
Instead, it can create a festering wound that slowly seeps poison into every pore

Time cannot erase all the hideous pain
It rather gives a purpose for walls to be built in order to keep the mind sane

Time will not provide a safe haven from harm
Although, it can reinforce the locks on prison doors that no one can disarm

Time should have given me my freedom
Or at the very least, granted my parole

However, I have become uneasily comfortable with the internal terror
Whatever uncertainty lies beyond my confinement, scares me more so
Doing what's uncomfortable...Seeking and accepting help...Discovering inner strength...Embracing your "flawed" true self...JUST BEING OK WITH ALL OF IT! This is my journey of trying to heal; because nothing stays buried forever.

Oh but a haze.....

A fog, a blow
Oh but a weariness.......

Oh but a fallacy. A curse.
Unless embraced, unless held with care.

The haze can confuse,
Lose you....
The haze, is hanging angel, a shining curse.
If torment will come -- you can allow it to.
If the haze is taken slowly, it can caress you.

There is nothing but freedom and madness.
There is nothing but darkness and pure light.

At the harbor, the docks shake and anchor.
But out at sea there is nothing to guide you.....

And the haze can be the meaning you put.
The winds will blow the direction you gear.
And the haze can be nothing but a story you tell it.
