When I was little,
my mother often threw me snakes
into the bed
so I could play.
I picked them up,
lifted and squeezed them,
preventing from reaching my face.
They opened mouths,
trying to push air
through their throats.
With a woman in bed,
when I get out of her hands,
I sometimes fall,
grab the last in the fist.
Clench my tongue, twist my back;
turn blue.
Then I don’t let the air out,
scratch my neck. Pretend
it was a snake bite. Play around.

He was danger from the very start,
The kind which came with many warnings.

I was cautious at once, Yes i was,
But soon I let my guard down,
I was left with a mind full of ideas,
He despised the ones he planted.

I loved, I fell, I fell in front of him,
He could not even hold me up.
Too busy with the others to give a ****,
I was dying right there and he didn’t care.

Guess love was a poison,
I drank up too fast,
Choked on my own tears,
I am broke, I won’t last.

Still hoping you could save me,
Hoping you could love me.

I used to hope you would choke on the life you ****** out of me,
Except after you left, I discovered all that you took was your own poison
I am free

Clouds cover my home and keep it modest while faded red brick buildings loom over arthritic streets. People who don't know they're dead yet buy poison in crayola-bright shops as the dead cheerfully seek ****** and methamphetamine. Baleful distractions run through my town like bullets through bones, bludgeoning, piercing and slashing our slice of Americana to pieces. The clouds may cover us, but 'modesty' is a lie.

I can feel the patterns,
the pieces you try to put together.
Trying to accept what you feel.
Oh baby, the world has poisoned you.
You drank it all and it made you delusional.
It has shown you that love is a rip-off, a hoax, something worthless.
That love is nothing more than a four letter word.
You kept on drinking and drinking their toxic substance because they promised you it wouldn’t mind anyway.
You even started to like the taste of it.
But the way you gaze into my eyes.
I know you know better.
Their poison did not **** you yet.
We still have time so let me.
Let me be your cure, your antidote, your remedy.
It’s not too late.
Just let me,
love you.

your sword is pointed at my neck,
so go ahead and slit my throat.
you'll see no fear in my eyes when you do.
the tip of my dagger already did its job,
and soon, the poison will **** you too.

People like you love to **** in the wind,
But get upset when your clothes get all wet.
Your mouth must be just another *******,
Because all I hear is **** coming out of it!

You are nothing but a disease!
A disease, a growth, a cancer!

You are what you make!
And you made yourself a victim!
There is no cure for this!
You are your own poison!

You love to feed.
You love to feed on others.
We mean nothing to you.
We're just something for you to sink your teeth into!

You bloodsucking, parasitic vampire!
You're a disease, a growth, a cancer!

You come and you feed and then you disappear!
You pollute our planet
Money rules your life
You are nothing but a bandit
Taking away our rights

You spilled toxins in our water
And didn't even care
Not worried about a slaughter
You continue to foul our air

You are killing us slowly
You contaminate our wells
We unknowingly drink your poison
As you cash in your company's shares

Almost Four-Hundred Thousand gallons of dumped oil
A poisoning in North Dakota
Keystone Pipeline's second spill Contaminating the soil
Over a million gallons leaked total

6,600 fracking waste spills in four States
Poisoning the watershed in all those places
So your pockets can be lined with green
While Republicans keep up deregulation

Flint, Michigan still don't have clean water
D.C  to allow fracking and drilling in national forests
Our climate continues to get hotter
Coal companies blowing up mountains don't matter

You are killing us slowly
You lace our children with cancer
We continue to drink your poison
You never give us straight answers

Water is a necessity of life
But corporations like money more
They don't care if we live or die
Bribes give our leaders a big score

You are killing us slowly
Death will come early for us all
You can't drink money
It will be America's downfall

I tasted you anyway
They tried to regurgitate
Your love out of me
It’s too late...I feel you in my vein
