Dawn with her rosy red cheeks
Triggered dirt water to brew
Out of habit two mugs were set
One for me
                 and
One for you

A forlorn breath passed my lips
No cure for this mornings thirst
I did forget (I mean, I didn't want to face the fact)
                  that
You started college
An empty nest is just the worst

A moment captured
Those two mugs
A message sent
Expressing my love
Good morning kiddo, I miss our coffees. Love dad.
This sadness belongs to the mourning doves.

these places
and spaces

with harm
he retires

We are the perfect pair
Two lovebirds sharing a nest
I make your heart sing, you make my heart fly
Your voice puts my heart at rest.
This one is cute and silly.
(2017)

A sparrow leaves its nest
From woods to ecstasy
And captivates the worm
In smallest quantity!

And makes its subtle power
To dominate the ranks,
And kneels itself on meadows,
But timidly attacks.

For all the fumbling creatures
Who lost in Cavalry, —
The sky is only hope
To mountains and to sea.

Every time I cross the pond,
My leap takes me into another path
My world is switching up again
And starting in new place
A new time-zone
And my home away from home
Feels cozy like a bird’s nest
As I am in a tree of skilled, fearless flyers
So, I have found my people

a mystery is-

yen to transcend it!

Snuggled together
In a nest full of feathers
Four wings and a nap

Little hearts they are beating
As these lovebirds lie sleeping

Birds come to aid of poets
who are stuck mid-air
somewhere
They'll chirp and sing
their best song
that'll guide us long
and will take off
as soon as we drop the pen
to their own nest
