Kody dibble Oct 2015
Possible,
Water,
Rain like mud sticking to your flabby boots,

Drift closer,
The beam of a candle,
Melts my fluorescent membrane,

Kappa,
Gamma Gamma,
Zeta, Theta,
Delta 2 Minor,
We have Control,

The opening is cut,
Like vintage dawns,

fiestivo, rex,
Domus,
Sum,

Forget any retrieval,
Seldom Come,
Seldom Reach you,
Gift to the whisper

Stand tall and unafraid
As we take back the night
Do not fear the darkness
For it's only lacking light
Let your light shine through you
And guide you through the terror
These men do not rule the world
Just because they see us as fairer
We are mighty and as one
We will overcome
Together, we'll set a blaze so bright
Together, we'll take back the night
for all the women who don't feel safe walking the streets on their own. WE SHOULD'NT HAVE TO BE AFRAID! STAND TOGETHER AND TAKE BACK THE NIGHT!

Sisters,
We are in trouble
Overwhelmed by reality
We choose to sleep
Being awake is painful true
But what else would you choose?
Disconnected with the truth
Disillusioned with "inclusion"
But when we as women chose to stand
With other women
Away from our brethren
We undermined our people
Their problems weren't ours
Respect in our households and communities was never the problem
But now we're truly  included
In the reign of terror
By the hegemony
that we were never actually excluded from
So now while we've branched off
Into this group and that
Engulfed in the rainbows, weaves,
****** objectification, drugs and popular culture
We are sleep crawling
To our extinction
It is better to live through pain
I n order to achieve gain
Than to nap through life
Never understanding your greatness
It is time to rise and return home

Graceful quiescent
bronze ballerina
frozen liquid pirouette
rooted from toe-tip
flowing calf to thigh stem
stretch sublime.
Off-shoot extends
then bends
at knee
runs the shin to
soft ankle twist.
Toe to knee again.
Budding groin
torso flowering divine
unfolding to
delicate swan neck leaning
face in ecstasy
tilting up.
Petal arms reaching
slightly bowing
to tulip cup.
Finger tips
elegantly caress
the sky.

When I'm gone
don't shut me in some lightless box
with a pillow for my head
I won't be sleeping long

And leave the flowers be!
They're far more beautiful
when they're not torn up
and strewn all over me

Don't lock me in the waiting room -
it's full of people I don't know
and then we'll both be lonely
when you can't come back soon

When I'm gone
burn your grief away with me
so all that's left is joyous love
and the fire to carry on

Then free as air my soul will roam
delighting in the stars,
each blade of grass, each cloudy day
all earth and heaven my home

But should you ever pause in fondest memory
and whisper: "would that you were here"
well then of course I'll head straight over
so we can sit and we can be
Written in fondest memory

Once I sat with nothing to do.

A man came and asked,

"What have you forgotten?"

And I wondered if he had gone mad...

I don't travel for a living, I travel to feel alive.
And I've learned that nothing will better illuminate the path ahead of you than a burned bridge behind you.

I can't
I won't
I should
I will
Won't
Still don't
Sat here, staggered
Able to get up
Able to run, to soar
I didn't.
Streams of colour
In constant motion
showing shades of beauty hidden
Powered by the wind
As it caresses the river of scent
Gently, softly, lovingly
And moves through the rows
Never stopping, always moving
Following the wind
Lavender tributaries
in a Sensual  scented sea of colour
Never ending.
