I wish we spoke in words
of fluent honesty
with no breaks or stutters;
our hearts in our hands
and our minds intertwined

By Chloe Elizabeth
Never have I ever
Met a soul who is more perfectly aligned
With mine
A mind with never
Ending complexity.

Never would I have fathomed
Such a unique bond
Between two minds, intertwined
Wrapped around each other
Infinite times.
Unwanting to unravel
Two vines.

Two seeds planted
Growing from different places find
Each never anticipated
To be brought together
Created
To experience the venture
That life orchestrated.

A mutual understanding
No words
Gazing
Into your herds
Of thoughts Running
From your eyes to my absurd
Mind – reading
Into the eyes of your soul.

The rarity
Of someone like you
Drives my mind to insanity.
Wanting to jump off of the moon
Landing into your arms – inhumanity.

Imagining days spent with you
Makes me relapse.
You just being – you
Are my morphine – body collapses.
You seemed like fiction brewed
By the side effects
Of loving you
Neither of us suspected
This perfect chemistry created by you and I – I and you.

Never have I been so blissful
Could such a human being exist?
Perfectly crafted – abysmal.
Completely convinced
You are my acid
An extraterrestrial experience
Through the collision of our
Unordinary
Bizarre
Zany
Intellectual passion.

Creating a beautiful collision
Of two journeys becoming one.
When what seemed unreal – fiction
Meets reality.

Let us join palms and live merrily
In unison.
This poem was written for my boyfriend. We never would have expected meeting since we thought that finding a fellow abstract mind was hard to find. This is going to be presented to him, so it will be taken down after I get feedback (so he doesn't see it). It's a birthday surprise!
I walked through town last week
and a stranger came and spoke to me.
I agreed with many things he said
but I didn't know who he could be.

Interred for spouting to the crowd
is what I read in the daily news.
Religious twaddle said reports
so they locked him up for different views.

He spoke about his fathers house,
he also spoke about the rights for all.
His words were guiding us to follow,
that without our father we would fall.

Holy men from other values
refused to hear what he would say.
Degredation they threw forth
so keen to lock this man away.

I was reminded of the past,
perhaps you might recall this day
when something really similar
happened to he, to whom we now pray.

I don't think he was sent from God
but to quieten him they were intense
and rather than let us use our own minds
they kicked this fellow off the fence.

I know he believed of what he said
and to spread his words is what he tried.
Perhaps this man was just a nut
but was this reaction justified?

late in the night
when your mind isn't occupied
and
it's roaming free
brewing and simmering
starting to boil
before you know it
it's overflowing
spilling out,turning into ideals
memories and things
you never thought would happen
filling you like warm tea or
cocoa fills others up in the cold winter
what comes to mind ?
what brings tears to your eyes ?
or simply
fills you with joy ?
have been having writer's block so i am just writing to be writing, feels rather nice....

we were born in the spring and fell
in the fall; we skinned our hearts on the way down and
our minds came tumbling after.
we rained down gold and silver and watched
as the fire licked our ribs
and the insignificance wore us thin.

The fire does not dream of you
for all it's warm embrace
it cannot feel the warmth of your smile
nor the heat in your heart
the fire may not dream of you
though I do

The wind does not dream of you
for all it's endless visage
it cannot see the wild wins of your spirit
nor the wonderful swirling of your thoughts
the wind may not dream of you
though I do

The water does not dream of you
for all it gloomy depths
it cannot touch your wondrous strength
nor the power of your presence
the water may not dream of you
though I do

The earth does not dream of you
for all it's gravely resilience
it cannot laugh with all your words
nor dance in pleasure to your voice
the earth may not dream of you
though I do

The world does not dream of you
for all its endless connections of thought
it cannot love just who you
nor fall even further every day
the world may not dream of you
though I do

My mind it does dream of you
for all it's relentless distractions
it cannot feel the space between us
only the spark that binds
my mind always dreams of you
and I smile, I do.

break down all the walls
that you've built
and give yourself a reason
to return to this world with a purpose.
you are nothing but a carcass
that has decomposed
into ashes of black mold.
you poison yourself into thinking
of spontaneous loving
and more so bright futures
where as proof shows none but
troubled breaths
and stutters in simple sentences.
if one thing has given no hope
it is your signage and composure.
none of your worth gives reason
to believe you are whole
and gives no life to your dead mind.
return yourself to where
your comfort lies
and leave us all with our intelligence.

A decade ago the brightest minds dreamed
of being as close to the unknown as the clouds are.
Today we dream the same
but on a larger surface; the moon.
on humanity progressing and changing over time
