Passenger seat.
Windows down.
Sun in my eyes.
Love sits on my left.
And there's trust
In the breeze.
We create little expeditions,
Until the real freedom comes.
Adventure glints in both set of eyes,
And we long for that day
When the world is completely ours.
As for now,
We walk on the edge of the limits,
Trespassing sometimes.
The wind blows through our hair
The sun gleams in our curious eyes.
One day we will never be apart.
One day adventure will have no limits.
I try not to complain,
For the adventure will always be there,
Paitiently waiting for us.

how long more can
this game of pretend last,
when it's slowly turning
into reality?
I can't pretend to like adulthood anymore. It's tiring.

Hard are the days to spend,
When boundaries itself is boundless!

Take me past the city limits,
Away from metal, structural rivets.
Down those back roads, through the divots,
To see the dream, but also live it.

Does the city limit?
stargazer May 2018
LIMITS are all I see
Controlling who we are
And who we want to be

What are we doing?
We are making more
If we keep pursuing
One day we'll hit the floor

Where's the progression
Everyone says we're making?
Life is in session
The dawn is breaking

LIMITS are all I see
How can we be who we are
If no one is free?
Society needs to clean itself up...

Keep to your own lines,
the interwoven, layered,
stood-the-test-of-time,
true-to-the-character lines.

Friend. Father.
Englander. Londoner.
Hero. Hugger.
Reliable understudier.

Place your toes on the bottom line,
and take a look and take in a breath,
take inspiration drawn in from the borrowed,
from the passing,
from the whatever-passes-for-solomon.
And redefine yourself, for yourself,
once again.

But don't stray over those well-rehearsed lines.
Don't ever improvise.

You're safe if you keep to your lines.
Every Line a Lie.

Large doses of you
Were never good for me,
But, I've always loved to
Push my limits.

I will still be waiting here for you to return
You will be damaged and broken
But it is the only time you turn to your real friends

We all have that someone who reminds us of ourselves
That someone who is like a drug to the weak
That someone that is off limits
That someone that we care about
That someone that will never know how much you help and protect them
That someone can never know that it's been this way for a long time
That someone that doesn't know that you stole glances at from across the room
That someone that is sweet poison
That person that you would only wish the best too
That person that is off limits
This is the day
I knew
My limits
This is the day
You broke my heart
