Serendipity Sep 2019
She was crisp in Autumn's wind.
Definite lines of beauty
set in stone,
on pavements filled
with leaves.

Her skin is cinnamon sprinkled,
and her oh just as punchy.

She was scented with spice,
her presence never a shadow
or mango-mangled mixture.
It was definite,
it was there.

She was there.

Least we fall, let it be on
to a ****** we dislike
     to cusion our descent. .

And may we smile,
    while they wince

in regrettable pain.

Whoops did my foot accidently

        tread upon your

private property..

Well least you remember
that ones fall
       is another's pain.

And another's *******...

I still feel the anger of the fight I had 7 months ago.
I laugh at it now, even though I probably shouldn't.
lol anybody wanna chat?
I remember the day I saw you again
I wanted to pretended
Pretend you still cared
That deep in your heart im still there
But I wasn’t ever on your mind
So please dont waste my time
“Your soooo pretty... for a Mexican girl”

Do you see the boy?
Skipping and jumping under the sky?
Laughing like he has no fear in the world.
Holding hands with air.

Do you notice the way he moves?
The way his feet jerks and grooves?
Moving so unnaturally,
Laughing like there's no end in things.

Lovely schizophrenia, isn't it?
The way it came from his mother?
The way he cares for someone else
Suffering from the same mental illness.

Delusions, fabrications, dreams that is unreal.
the way that he perceives the world makes me really feel.
Uncomfortable, yet I don't think that he asked me to feel
Pity for his condition.

Laugh of a thousand children,
Asking for a better future,
Those ones that seek the asylum,
And look forward for capture.
Public opinion on mental illness is changing, but is it for the better?
Back then when we talked you couldn't look away
Now you look anywhere
Anywhere but my face
Anywhere but my eyes
Everywhere else but me
but... the last time he looked at her.. he was talking to her (sum other girl)
she went to talk to her (the other girl)
and for the first time
in a very long time
he stared at her the way he used to
at her face at her eyes
she realized this
being she shy girl she is
she went under her float and swam away
taking the floaty with her
leaving the other pretty girl confused
leaving him
leaving him to forget her
like he always dose

an outlet
for thoughts feelings
for when you can't think straight,
for when sentences can't form.
an outlet
for flowers to bloom
for tears to fall
for lungs to breathe.
an outlet
for voices unheard
for fingers to type
for brains to process,
for hearts to heal
