A bed sheet of memories.
A heart taped together with broken promises.
A head filled with "what ifs" and "could've beens"
More importantly, two feet that couldn't walk away even if they tried.

Likes the new girl in office
Adds her on Facebook,
she accepts.
Browses all her photos,
never comments.
Types in the chat box,
deletes.
Sees her with another guy,
disbelieves.
Another girl joins, the process repeats
Now that you have read it, please read the bold only. Voila! It still tells the complete story.
This is one of many true story #greypapers I post on Facebook. I am on a campaign where I write true stories of people in the form of poetry. I have described various funny, grave, gruesome, lovely emotions in these, you can read them at

and do let me know your opinion of the same
While doing Guy Fawkes the night before
I received some surprising news
My Father said some things to me
I nearly blew a fuse
He said to me when tomorrow comes
A sad event will start your day
and i was so upset to wake up
to find my dad was taken away
this happened over 20 years ago
and it's still feeling like new
The anniversary comes but once a year
and Oh! I feel so blue
It was the day that changed my life
but things have improved as such
My awesome husband is in my life
and changed me oh so much
my love of life is music
and it brings me so much cheer
but my husband and my father
I love them both so dear
I really now must finish
before I go on to long
but I want you to remember
Go on! sing a song!

He look at me,Smiles
I laugh at him, waving good byes
still's into me,that guy !
Sometime we girls can turn preety mean, when a guy approaches us.Its not that we hate'em but Sometime girls love to receive special treatment & attention. *giggles*

perfectly soft, cascading hair
crest of a neck so real
stripped of all innocence laying bare
words could never heal
on her sleeves, emotions to wear
silence of the night thick to feel
never would she be the same
only loneliness -herself remain

walking through the halls
facing all her peers
no one would ever know at all
her watermark of tears
couldn't tell she'd built a wall
to keep inside her fears
would never let one break it down
comfortable inside her frown

looking now inside to face herself at last
she's battling demons now, demons all her own
rising triumph threatens to destroy her happy past
tearing ripping swallowing up what was once her home
emptiness consumes her, left in a field so vast
why me now this? all questions left unknown

never would she be the same
only loneliness -herself remain

When my friends and I talk about guys
one of my girl says a guy whose tall
another says whose strong
another wants rich
thats kinda guy they wanna be with
my turn,I said a guy who has sense of humor
a guy who can write poems
and I could write poems for
a guy with whom I can laugh & cry
a guy that would be mine.
Everybody dreams about their love ones to be like..As for me I want someone exactly like me or even close :)

I wake up to a repetition,
The constant strive for approval.
A simple undying rendition,
Ideas in my head, hoping for removal.
A subscription for success sign me up,
One hefty fee of-not enough.
Same old texts, asking what's up?
This is not something that should be that tough.

Staring at his number,
I am missing the bad guy.
alone again Oct 2014
No matter what you will love them
They may tease you or even break your heart
But, you know nothing could tear you apart
He is your guy friend, maybe not your best
But, you know you rather have him than all the rest
They can tear you down
But you know they'll always help pick up the pieces
A friend you can count on
A friend you can trust
Having a guy friend is an absolute plus

the first time I saw her,
everything in my head fell silent.
her eyes were reflections of galaxies
so many have gotten lost in before me.
her lips formed a smile like a flickering candle,
but a smile nonetheless.
her hair was let loose like a restless ocean.
she was breathtaking.
and it was when i felt my heart skip a beat
that i knew *i had to have her.
