Would you ever fall for someone like me?

Someone who's heart has been broken,

But she's gluing the pieces together.

Would you ever fall for someone like me?

Someone who cares *so
much,

But gets nothing in return.

Would you ever fall for someone like me?

Someone who puts others before herself,

So she felt wanted and helpful.

Would you ever fall for someone like me?

Someone who already fell.

She's having trouble getting back up.

She's surviving and not living.

Her heart beats for you...

But would you ever fall for someone like me?

Fear
Is a glue
That holds your once-broken-heart
Together

Eventually it dries.
The fear
Evaporates from
Your mind.
You forget.

The glue is gone.
Your heart strung high
As ever.
And then you fall
IT falls.

Fear is the glue that
Holds together
Your broken heart.
It dries. You forget.

Fear helps
You heal.

This is a basic social unit,
That goes through different situations and circumstances
Some, stay together....some do not
Most stick it out...........but, no matter what
At day's end, they exchange views,
Share smiles....tears....and laughter
Over wine...coffee...or tea...

Just like in a classroom, or gatherings
Every voice is heard...ideas, opinions considered
No one is intimidated...or alienated...
Lest they be driven far away
Til they go off...........astray...

Energy emitted
Is like an adhesive
That keeps everyone close by
They go to different places
Yet, to their comforting space,
They return.........they come home,

Where they feel their needs are
Provided
Whether they be
Physical
Emotional
Especially,
Spiritual
Where they learn the value of family

You...me...he...she,
It could be a parent
Or, a grandparent
A sibling, a daughter or a son,
Even grandchildren,
Any member,
Could be the one that makes everyone feel at home
The one that approximates distances
The one that serves as the
G l u e
To hold family together.

Baby Bobby is free,
No more whips, from amish men,

Baby Bobby is free,
You kicked and screamed on the glue truck sweetie,

Baby Bobby is free,
A nice lady Cathleen rescued you for me,

Baby Bobby is free,
She Cleaned you up and healed your wounds,

Baby Bobby is free,
Bobby baby, why are you scared of me,

Baby Bobby is free,
Bobby baby, I'd never hurt you, I just want to love you,

Baby Bobby is free,
Bobby why do you kick and scream?

Baby Bobby is free,
Bobby I love you, what's wrong baby.

Baby Bobby is never going to be Free,
Bobby is trapped inside his fears, much like me.
My horse Bobby has PTSD no wonder I love him so much.

I want to rip you apart
until you are merely fragments of human
ripped and vulnerable
then I could finally tell you
how I feel
about you
about us
about the way I strive for us to exist together
in this lonely universe.
I would glue you back
piece by piece
carefully and slowly
making sure you are still just as perfect
as you were before.
but I know that no matter what
you will be
you make my heart sing pure joy
just by the look you give to me
the sensation of your warm hands on my skin
nothing could make me feel more secure
even since the first time I saw you
my soul was awakened
I was given a purpose
to fall in love with you.
you don't love me though
and you never will.
I am nothing to you
just a foolish female
who will give you anything you desire
that is my own fault,
not yours
I have let myself lust for you
too many times
and now I am stuck
craving your presence and voice
your affection and promises
I know I am a sucker for you
and I am not sure
if I will ever not be
this broke me

love
It means the glue to whatever makes up you,
It is the number unimaginable but you already knew,
It is like a birds eye view of the outside of a zoo,
It is your break through.
It is the memory of why you are what you're put through
Love is who taught me to be me and you to construe,
So when he falls you dont fall too,
My name is meaningless; a loose glove,
It means nothing without love.

I know we are both human.
We both make mistakes.
But I 'am NOT your  punching bag.
You are scratching, shoving, and crushing me.
And I'm trying to run, jump and duck from all the words you throw at me.
But it seems like the ground is rumbling and turning me around back to your horrid words.
And it feels like every word that you speak brings me down.
Each word breaking and taring me slowly.
I guess I am your punching bag after all.
I'm fixed up with tape and glue, holding on by a cord.

You never were a hater,
But you tried to be a player.
You tried to come off cool,
But there's a devil in your lair.
You tried to be a good one,
But they talk behind your back.
They're plotting, they're wotnotting,
And they're planning their attack.
They severed your reality -
They twisted every turn.
They're burning and they're churning,
They don't render what you yearn.
Then panic triggers fever,
And you feel the fever burn.
If they keep on pushing,
Those suckers gonna learn.
Then the witness understands.
There is reason for concern.
There is a new commander -
And oh!   The worm has turned.

What could you do?
You never knew.
How could have you?
No-one told you.
Misery is glue,
Sticks to you.

You never were a villain
Till they clotted up your chill.
You never needed anyone
To tell you what you feel.
They only know to validate
Themselves - they never love.
If it suits their motives,
They will bite, and kick and shove.
There never was a heartache
That you could not overcome.
You have to have a heart that's hard.
So go out and get you one.
Trample loosers under foot,
Or they'll be too burdensome.
Keep your left hand from your right,
And keep your lovers under thumb.
Finally, you start to see
That life is just a loaded gun.
You can never stop to rest,
You're always on the run.

What could you do?
You never knew.
How could have you?
No-one told you.
Misery is glue,
Sticks to you.

You master all that you survey, Everybody knows your name.
Cream rises to the top -
You are the winner of the game.
If you gave them half the chance,
They  would cut you down.
You forever have to watch your back,
Never let them gather 'round.
You didn't try to rule the world,
You only wanted to survive.
If they had their way,
You would no longer be alive.
Your meter's getting weaker,
But you strive to make it through.
You've trudged thicker purposes,
You always make it through.
They will give it all they've got
When they finally come for you.
You have never had a moment's peace,
'Cause misery is glue.

What could you do?
You never knew.
How could have you?
No-one told you.
Misery is glue,
Sticks to you.
I started writing this song in 2000. I was inspired by the rap-pop song by Blondie called No Exit.

You
You're so ugly, you're so mean
You're the dark side of a dream
You're nothing good, you're the worst
Knowing you must make me cursed

So pitiful in your own tragedy
In this thing you call a life
Such magic in your hellish infamy
These words cut you like a knife

Yet you are me, I am you
Attached together like glue
If you think this way of us
Others must have more to fuss
