your face reminds me
of a simpler time-
a collection of distant yet
unforgotten memories.
To this day I am left asking myself:
how could such a sublime smile
evoke such pain?
How can such innocent eyes
conjure such betrayal?
Whenever I see your face,
I can't help but wonder
what could have been.

that beautiful face of yours
you give this aura with your smile
you must be in a good mood
i took a glimpse of your eyes
it’s completely different
you look vulnerable and scared
i asked what’s wrong

I heard that one's mind can't make up a face so everyone you seen is someone you've seen

I remember how your hair fell over your shoulder
When you grabbed my arm

I remember kissing you
How it felt like light exploding
When our lips met

I remember your smile was the first thing I saw
My only thought was to hold you tighter
Before I woke up
