I can taste it all now,
The sunlight like glazed sugar,
The caramel of silence in the woods.

Blood bleeds away with water
The rapids carry it quickly through
So no sour iron stains the soil.
There is no laughter from her anymore
Just the resigned

Crack

Of a neck supported by thistles
As it rolls like a stone off the shoulder.
All around, the world looks away
Blushes bashfully a few times
So the sky projects the warmest blue
A little compensation for the tragedy.

No soul remains *******
She's bubbles, gone, evaporated
The little thoughts she had left
Trickling in amber down her tongue
While the bees inspect her honey hair.

Later on, she slides further in the water
And they assume she has drowned.
Everyone simply ignores the mermaid fins
That blossom across her back
And claims she couldn't swim.

At least she died looking up.

The burning makes your eyes flow
If only this in turn would ***** the fire
But it can’t be so as we’d flood the world
and drown our sorrows in shame

heartbreak has the depth of the ocean-

at first, it is all-encompassing
swallowing you whole as you sink deeper and deeper
everything begins to go dark as the light on the surface begins to fade into blackness

but as you fall into heartbreak, you almost get comfortable while
the darkness and lack of air engulf you.

you grasp for air but with every gulp you take, you begin to drown until you feel nothing but emptiness in every crevice of your body

but to some extent,
you like it.

as the agony and darkness take over, you accept where you are and believe there is no way up now that you've fallen so far.

and when you close your eyes for what feels like the final time, the light breaks the calm surface and you rise up to taste the sweet air once again.

I drown,
Under a wave of self loathing,
even though,
I'm an excellent swimmer

I stood there silently, under the cold embrace of that rain,
and watched myself drown,
as all of that sadness soaked itself onto me,
It did not wash away my sorrows,
nor did it comfort me,
it just gave in to me, like a falling leaf gives in to the ground,
filling my chest with all the sorrows, of both tomorrow and yesterday,
it broke something in me, something i once cherished,
and without that torn self, i often ask myself, i wonder,
what's worse ??
To lose one's own self? or to lose one's own reason to live ....

Im Drowning
In My Tears
Do You Expect Me To Be Ok?
IF IM DYING. THE LAST THING I WANNA HEAR IS "are you ok?"

Do not get so lost in another's soul
that you forget what your own is made of.

Sure, let yourself float in the beautiful feeling that is love,
but make sure you do not forget how to swim in the process.

Too often we are told that love is selfless,
but not that it is sometimes ephemeral.

And once you lose it,
all you will have left will be
a lifetime of memories and yourself.

So do allow yourself to love,
but remember to love yourself first.
I have yet to learn how to follow my own advice, but this poem came from a place of self love.

I smeared myself against your bottom lip,
To feel the same warmth
That rests at the caress of
Your lip.
Each breath a breeze,
I myself, resting in the hammock your lips make.
If you sigh I have no fear of being blown away.
Knowing that I've reached the peak of where I've climaxed most.
I don't mind if you bite down.
Being caught between your bottom lip and the top of your grin.
If I could lay here for a while longer,
Caught in the explosion between us two.
The way I've smeared myself far from subtle.
Drowned in the corner of your mouth.

Your lips the softest pillow
I could rest my head.
Your lips the softest kiss I could drown

i just want to sit at the bottom of that pool
the floor to ceiling windows letting in the sunlight
and i'll watch as the light shimmers on the tile
the waves a kaleidoscope of memories
and it projects in front of me
some are beautiful in a certain kind of way
i'll tell myself that i can breathe
that i'm where i belong
and i'll sit there
in a state of euphoria
in a state of delirium
and float like an astronaut in space
and before i realize it's too late
my lungs stop working
and i'm where i need to be
i'm sorry i've been gone so long but i'll be back really soon <3
