I've had enough, I'm done
Your standards are no fun

You're a broken wordsmith
Lost in a world of words
Searching for realization
While your story is unsung

Your screams from mountaintops
Heard only by cowards ears
Your brightest light
Can't catch my darkest hour

Good day to you sir
A forever blur*

hallucinations Feb 2015
it starts in the winter,
with the darkness that swirls
in my head.
and its all a blur,
and i am nothing but a mess,
lying on the floor amongst the
shattered glass
of your tears.

i am
trapped
in a moment
where all i
can do
is stare
until the
scene
blurs together --
not that my
reality
had really been
clear
before.

the closer you are
the harder it will be to see
everything that i am.
I will only appear to you
blurred and distorted.
if you really want to see me,
know me for all that i am,
get back, back away.
moving in closer is not the right way.
you see
your focus can't stay fixed
for life is a blur
and you'll constantly have to change your perspective
to truly see it
to  truly see me
and everything that we are.
One will tell the tale,
Another will blur its lines;
A third sets it straight.

As I threw a rock in
The water crippled
Which only showed me
A blurred picture of myself

The blurred reflection
Reminded me
Of many things
Things that didn't want to be remembered

But it had to be done
I had to see
I needed to see
The person that I have become

Who I am now
Is not who I was yesterday
Or the month before
Or the year before

Right now, I am me
At the same time
Right now
I am not me

We are all controlled from birth
The puppet strings invisible,
Connected to
Soul,
Mind,
Palms,
We think we are free,
But that is but an illusion of the mind,
Controlled by everything around,
Television,
Radio,
Papers,
Showing us things, we didn't know we'd want
Buy,
Larger,
Spend more than you bring in,
We are slaves to what we see.
Subliminal messages,
Words hide with meaning,
Suggestive colours to **** us all in,
But some of us feel the burn,
A scratch that cant be itched,
But the mind starts to become free
As the tethers grow thinner,
And you see the strings,
A hairs length so nearly not seen
But you release the string, cutting free,
Now you see things as there meant to be seen
Force fed the world, truth was a blur,
Now seen like your eyes opened wide,
We are controlled, shown what we don't want
Free your
Body
And mind
See the world, do what you wish,
Cut the strings that hold your life back
Freedom of thought, now breath.

Broken? Yea that seems about right.
Heart broken? More or less.
How does one handle all the pain that comes with being broken?
How do you cope? How do I cope?
Everything is such a blur, nothing seems real anymore.

It was cold. And  quick.
Not the moment my heart was torn, but
The second it was put back together, so quickly.
So happily.
So lovingly.
