Darwin’s Coffee ***

Not enough coffee in the ***,
to keep me awake through this daydream,
not calling the kettle black I’m calling us all containers in this melting ***,
so I try to keep myself in shape by staying gluten free,

going for the long shot,
like I’m shooting a 3,
all in like a Hotshot,
no hotdogs just coleslaw and greens,

jeez,
what a trip it is this life I lead,
see,
right now I’m in at a hotel on a beach,

in a town called Darwin,
in The Northern Territory,
which is ironic because I’m pondering,
the thought that maybe we’re all aliens,

or at least have 10% extraterrestrial in our genes,
which makes us extraordinarily extra special,
plus it supports my theory that we’re all aliens,
seriously Google Missing Genetic Link,

give it a think,
humans themselves are the Missing Link,
and even Charles Darwin can’t solve the problem,
of not being able to connect our missing link,

and I want to keep writing about it,
but I think instead I’ll go for a swim in the sea,
because I’m tired of writing the water looks inviting,
and not only that but I’m both exited and sleepy,

Not enough coffee in the ***,
to keep me awake through this daydream…

Where is the sky,
when you're scared to raise your eyes?
What lurks above,
in the absent space,
when irrationality tells you tales of aliens?
I shudder at my thoughts,
live in constant worry over the higher place,
avert skyward attention through my fear of the unknown.
I count the days till I drop and float up there,
till I have to face that which waits.

Oh you creatures /
You gods and dead /
You satellite haunts /
How long till I am one of you?
How long till I become another dying star in the dark,
misinterpreted by those who believe something better awaits?
How long till I orbit a planet I will never miss?

UFOs and alien dreams
They stood around me as I screamed
They shone a light into my face
And declared ME from outer space
Bea Mecum Jul 2018
And I saw them
From my front porch
and I saw them
from my yard
and I saw them
by the millions
they are coming down here
where we are
And they'll call in
the entire millitary
It'll baffel
the machine
I will question
the authorities
and maybe break some rules
I have profound
compound evidence
that we're all living
in a dream
like some kind of complex system
to divide infinity

The Aliens invented religion,
or at least the idea of a Heaven & Hell,
not sure the motives behind their invention,
but it seems to have something to do with oil,

and gold and iron and all the other precious resources,
that exist on Earth and are harvested, mined, extracted,
in order to pay people yeah you know Hue Mans,
so that those same Humans can pay The System it’s taxes,

anyways we’re distracted,
let us get back to the point of the matter,
which is that Aliens invented religion,
and before you refuse to believe the truth take a look closer,

they say Heaven is a place in the sky,
and that God appears sometimes,
out of the “Heavens” and onto the Earth,
in the form of a bright ball of light,

sounds a lot like,
God arrives on a spaceship,
sounds a lot like,
They want us to look to the sky when we worship,

now what about the forest,
and the hot springs from Mother Earth,
well according to The Bible under the earth is were Hell dwells,
and under the ground is where the “bad” go to burn,

and anyone that worships the Earth,
instead of worshipping the Church,
get’s accused of being a wicked witch,
is tied to a stake and burned,

see I’ve got reason to believe,
that The Powers That Be want us to believe,
that space is good and earth is bad,
and we humans are here stuck in between,

would make sense wouldn’t it,
plus it’d explain why we commit atrocities in God’s name,
why we ****** each other and carve out the insides of our Mother,
and why we can do these awful things without any shame,

how else could we enslave people and animals,
how else could we pollute the oceans and lands,
how else could we do all of this with a clean conscious,
and not even feel the least bit bad?

Yeah I figured it out it’s all all fact,

and the only reason you’d refuse to believe this truth,
is collective cognitive dissidence,
because if you speak out against the Space People,
then you’re considered a delusional citizen,

can get locked away for the things you say,
then force fed pills until all of your feelings go away,
so stop theorizing on the real reason for the Bible,
and get back to work so you can get paid,

and all of this may be why,
we feel a sense of alienation in this Alien Nation,
because The Aliens invented religion upon their invasion,
even though we’re not sure the motives behind their invention…

That
Floating
Patch of light
Dangling in air
For minutes on end
Moving as though pacing
Is certainly either a
Secret government project, or
An alien spacecraft, but
I am both too scared and
Far too tired to
Go outside and
Take a look
On my
Own

I don't like Barbie b/c

supposed to look   good
teetering on seven-inch

wearing a push-up bra  to
perform brain surgery  or
flying to Mars & beyond;

sending Barbies into    space
would mess w/ alien's minds
for sure; 'these are obviously
religious figurines. hmmm' -

& somewhere deep in the Scorpio
Nebula an astroarchaeologist gets
curious about the long-abandoned
space cargo; 'no genitals, u say?'

boomed his three-eyed mentor;
'these creatures never existed;
they are purely mythological
creations & even were they to
roam some bizarre alien world
they would fall over on those
spindly legs & tiny feet; as I'll
continue to insist, such monsters

could never see life;' the lecture
went on & on; about how the two
large lumps on the upper front
torso have no discernible function
other than to throw the creature off-
balance; but then                             later, under the    cool      rainbow night    ,
w/ the    several       moons       emitting their          familiar      colored     waves    ;.;
the astroarchaeologist                     had the most       disconcerting dream;
made the more disturbing in                  that no one of their race had ever dreamt before- it was unheard of,
& yet all he saw, smelled & heard
were female voices                         chattering from 1,000,000,000 different
directions
    at once; he saw butts & *****           in every size

no chafing; band-aids on *******;           more      bouncing   tanned        rear ends running to the showers; lingerie
                flying like cats after             birds; seven-inch Plexiglas stilettos -
[the entire room                          stinks of ***** & farts, he notes             ]
tampons in; music up &                   when the curtain                                          F
opens the orchestra crescendos
the svelte army of leggy contestants;
bathing beauties marches into the limelight &
stand tall & ***** defying the howling
mad crowd surrounding them in a glittering star & family                -filled gala Colosseum -sized            arena;
the spectacle is to boost the morale of the ]
e ***** men & women who smile w/
malicious leers every time  camera's eye catches           their

upon waking the           astroarchaeologist
looks over at his desk;            the seven - inch - woman taunting him
'but how,' he thought & rolled        over back to sleep
to dream once again of the Barbie                  Nation;
no such creature could ever exist;
but some such creature had to create it &
therefore as the learned philosophers are wont to say,
how could an unknown creature create  the

unknown creature strongly resembled         the non-existent creature

Unknown enemy

In an alien world with three moons in the sky,
A luminous thing flies high in the air.
It looks like a pterodactyl,
But it has three heads and breathes fire.
My fellow soldiers and I are searching for resources,
Among the dead bodies, inside a spaceship called ‘The Debonair’.

It’s been here for over a hundred years;
But no man has been to this planet since.
It was just a coincidence that we heard its distress signal,
As we passed by, heading for Alpha Six.
Our home world we haven’t seen now,
For seven months and sixteen days.
But now we have a new mission:
Salvage what we can and bury the bodies in graves.

Sergeant Angelos is reading an elegy, to commemorate the dead;
While the scouts we sent out earlier, haven’t reported back yet.
The scouts are on gravity bikes looking for anything we can use,
But so far they have found nothing but volcanoes and rivers of sulfur…
But something has found them.

They didn’t know they were being followed as they returned to base.
There is a loud other-worldly scream in the distance
And we are all put on high alert.
“What the Hell was that Captain?”  “I don’t know Pike;
Hit the dirt!”

A huge ball of blue light is flying straight towards the medi-bay;
Soldiers run this way and that and thankfully we are all safe.
But the medi-bay is destroyed by an alien weapon.
“Fire at will!”  Shouts the Captain,
As strafes of bullet fire fly off into the distance,
In search of the alien.

“Where did it go?  Anybody see it?”
There is silence; then a shout.
“It’s there!  Two o’clock, beyond the red rocks!”
We all open fire and create a dust cloud.

As the dust disappears the Captain says:
“Did we get it?  Is it dead, or not?”
Before anyone can answer, there is another scream
And this time it comes from behind us.

“Oh my God!  This thing's got friends!
Round up the caravan’s lads, we’re hunkering down for the night.”
As the sky gets darker, more aliens surround us
And our bullets fire, lighting up the sky.

Blue luminous fire rains down upon us and our barricade.
Our ground to air ship, takes a Hell of a beating,
But it’s been through worse than this in its days.

By morning light, the shooting has ended.
We all walk out our ground to air ship and see what we can find.
There are dead aliens all around us, seventy five in total.
The cheers and joy of our victory,
Has been sullied by the number of our side who have died.
Fourteen gone from us; taken by an unknown enemy.
This is our job, our life, our fight and our destiny.

As we leave the planet behind, the memories stay with us.
We have conquered one enemy;
Now we are heading home to our family and friends.
The people we do this for and the people that we love.

Sometimes I feel like I’m in the midst of a junk yard
***** junk yard girl
I’m part of all the scrap metal
Rusting away
Under the gentle yet violent embrace of such a ridiculously big sun, so powerful and on top of us
It’s no wonder summers make it so hard to breathe...
Then again so does the brisk wind, in a bitter winter

You can’t win.

I imagine myself immersed in the sand of a desert
the sand enters my cuticles till they explode
let me just bleed
In total
Peace

Letting the sand run through my fingers, just for a brief moment

I can control time.

Like popcorn stuck in your molars
While the smooth butter just lathers up your taste buds
I live feeling bipolar

Nostalgia can ******* away
with a high so strong
It makes me want to live

Maybe it’s the magic of those late 90’s cartoons glaring through my tv screen

Sugary cereals before they were so bad for you

Maybe it’s how people seem, from the distance of time

Like an alien
I roam around this life that is mine
Advanced enough to blend in
Curious enough to stand out looking lost.

As he walks on by, leaving you to wonder.

Walking home on a Saturday night, I saw a spaceship flying so high.
I tipped my hat and turned my back and I continued to walk on by.
You see I have already seen this, inside a memory inside my mind.
I have had this thought a million times, so I just let it pass on by.

A light burns in the distance,
As a comet flies through the Heaven’s above!
I cast a glance, a peek perhaps; nothing more than a quick look.
You see I have seen it all before, a thousand times or more
And all the wonder has disappeared, along with all the fun.

Other people do not believe in me;
They say I just tell fantastic stories that I create.
They tell me that I should just write a book of fantasy,
But I have never created a page,
That could ever shine as bright,
As the idea’s that you will find along the way.

Another morning after;
I awake with another story to tell.
They tell me that they are tired of the tales that I weave
And that they are no longer under my spell.
But that has never been my objective;
I never tried to change the way that you see.
A thousand non-believers have nothing to give,
To a wondering mind that has already been.

I want to believe in my own ideals
And follow a thought until the end.
They can disbelieve and question my words,
But they can never stop me from attempting to make new friends.

Maybe I can also speak the truth too;
Maybe not all I say is a lie.
Maybe one day you will see me disappear inside a cloud,
After a thunderous flash of light.

I have travelled over the oceans and I have walked under a moon.
I never thought to take you with me,
Because I thought that you already knew,
That I am just a traveller
And I am passing through your time.
Maybe next time I am passing through here,
I will try to drop you a line.

I would have liked to have taken you with me,
But it would have taken all of your hope.
If you believe enough in me, who knows?  We will see;
Maybe I could find a way to offer you a saving rope.
A way for me to lift your heart, when you are falling down.
I want to raise all of your spirits
And show you the universe, before I leave this town.

Some people say I never existed;
Some say I must have been a ghost.
The only man I truly knew, is unknown to you,
But he is the one I admire the most.
Some people tell my story, without ever knowing of his;
But I could never write an autobiography,
Without an acknowledgement of his tragedy.
I am living in his shadow, I have his memories inside.
I see an image of the man that I could have been,
But I must leave his body now and return to my life.

I’m heading off into the blue now;
I’m leaving you all behind.
I have left you with a memory…
As I leave you all to be mankind.
I’m leaving you all to wonder,
Who was the man that was talking that night?
And as I turn the corner,
I climb into my flying saucer
And I fly up into the sky.
