I remember the joy
of consuming
happiness
there is a season
for everything
this time
I will just sit out in the rain
bated breath
waiting for a change.

it's not the fact that you left me
but that the world didn't stop moving
when mine did ....
i know i hurt you but tell me was it so easy
so easy to give up on me ?
yeah i made mistakes ,and i was mean
but was it so easy to believe that it was just an act i put up to get your forgiveness .
i know used that word "sorry " a lot
but was it so easy to say, sorry no more
after those heart filled realisations
after  admitting to those mistakes .
tell me was it so easy to just walk away
its not the fact that you wont be the person that
i wake up to neither would you be the person i close my eyes on ,just the fact that i won't have anyone in the world to call mine now..
its not the fact that you are leaving me for good
its just that the world is still one piece while mine just shattered in front if my eyes .

Lovely Joy / 2020

The year I fell in love
with the idea of me,
not as how I was perceived
but just me.

I pledge allegiance to the bigotry
of the Fractured States of Sanity,
and to the Republican for whom it grovels;
one dystopia, godless, divided,
with liberty and justice for those straight white folks who can afford it

Festival of lights,
New beginnings,
Divine blessings,
Joy without strings.

Let’s drench in the boundless light,
From the sun, the moon and the stars,
Let's light up from within,
Make everyday a festival of lights.

We're not in this together
& truth be told we never were
Our history is of dissent
Our future – one side's voice unheard
La Batalla de Girón
– A wave of fire undeterred
We've become tomorrow's spokesmen
Unleashed our tongue upon the world

We're never in this together
Your war is one of treachery
Unending plunder of our home
For every Empire's century
Our war is fought when there's no more
To choose but sheer necessity
The once subdued & dispossessed
No hope. No fear. No property

'cause we are not in this together
& all curtains are bound to fall
Once our longest march draws near
The last of powers to dissolve

As we watch all Suns set
On the crowns of the few
The hands of the oppressors
Transparent yet unseen
As we walk down every street
Dancing to the tune
The glorious creak
of the decaying capitalist machine

We'll never be in it together
It's you or us, no in between
It's earth or ash, it's life or death
It's all or none, & we will win

-That red flags, never turn green.
I had to learn it the painful way....

Speak to people in a way that if they died the very next day, you'd be satisfied with the last thing you said.

Him: "What's wrong?"
Me: "Nothing".
Him: "Please tell me..."
Me: "I am just afraid....you might leave. It haunts me and I cannot control it."
Him: "I promise I would never do that to you. I love you. "
Me: "...promise?"
Him: "Yes, I promise. "

Forgive me...
I spelled "Ex" wrong.
💔

An old entry in a journal I had years ago, figured I would post...
Simple and nothing special, rather basic honestly, but reflecting back, it hit something deep.

Day by day
everything is the same
but everything has changed
In a flick of time
everything is translated
A year turning into
a new lifestyle
everything is changing
I can't see it now.
