Down comes the rain
Washing away all hope
It stays in vain
And left my heart broke

It floods all my dreams
And leaves me shivering, cold
Because there are no more sun beams
To keep me warm

Thick, grey clouds coat the sky
So the sun cant peer through
And the atmosphere cries
Sending thunderstorms, and showers too

But out of the blue
Rising from the ground
Something that's bound to the earth, flowers

Their roots dig deep
And their petals beam with colour
Their leaves flutter in the wind
Their elegant scents dance in your nose
Something so simple yet so beautiful

May the flowers remind us
Why the rain was so necessary.
basically a long metaphor about how the rain is the difficult things in life, but if you push through great things will come(flowers)

He will never change
Senna-Mia Rahner Nov 2019
Sweat and tears down her neck
She’s a reck
As the men caress her body
Like flys on a corps
Her soft skin starts to warp
Her eyes roll back
Because of the lack of his love
The love of men in her life
And all their kisses
Are like a knife
Piercing her heart
As it decomposes
Because all she wants is a bouquet of roses
And she misses him
But she knows that he will never change
He will probably get way worse
At best the same

Her thoughts are vapor
Remembering him between her thighs

Painted love
Senna-Mia Rahner Feb 2019
Love her.
Love her like she is a masterpiece that you saw in a gallery
She just stuck out

Her raven hair
Long and elegant lines carved by a brush
Her eyes
Bright colours that shine even in the darkest nights
Her delicate curves
Flowing down the canvas
Her emotions drown you in a feeling you can't describe
One too powerful for words
Her laugh drenches you in a feeling of utter enjoyment
Her texture is soft and tranquilizing
You get so lost in her presence.

Love her.
Love her like she is a masterpiece you saw in a gallery
She just stuck out.

Broken Boy
Senna-Mia Rahner Feb 2019
She had loved a broken boy
Who longed to be fixed
For someone to come along
And rebuild him bit by bit
For he loved people before her
But they broke his heart
Made all his soft parts ruff
Made his world turn upside down
And made him jagged and tough
So he learned that your heart can be broken to easily
His heart was too willing to be loved
It wanted to be broken gently
Slowly deteriorate
So he built walls around his heart
To protect it from the love that it longed
And found other people to think about
And different  names to whisper in the night
He tried to leave the memory of her to rot
And sometimes he wonders if she remembers
The way they smiled at each other
Or maybe she just forgot.

Missing the monster
Senna-Mia Rahner Nov 2019
I feel low and blue
Without you
You would tuck me in
And kiss me goodnight
But why do you always have to fight
And always be right
Like the monster under my bed
And I remember when you said
I miss you
But I told you that it wasn’t true
And now I think that maybe
I miss you too

Too Late
Senna-Mia Rahner Feb 2019
My heart still bleeding
My wounds still healing
I'm barley breathing

I'm drowning
You'r frowning
Deep in shame
I can't even remember my own name

Eventually I lost
You grabbed me fast
But it was too late.

I Dream About You Too Much
Senna-Mia Rahner Feb 2019
I dream about you too much
Sometimes I loose myself in those dreams
I imagine the way you breathe
As you would lay next to me
I dream about
How your smile makes me feel
I dream about
What your voice sounds like
And how your laugh is music too my ears
I dream about
The way you think
And what your eyes see
I dream about
Tracing my fingertips
Along your freckles and marks
But I remind myself
That you wont be there when I wake up
And I guess that's why
I'm so afraid of the dark.

Love is a drug
Senna-Mia Rahner Jul 2019
The pills remind her of him
His tongue leaves hers with and after taste
She smokes anything that’s laced
Because he can’t be erased
Imprinted on her brain
And all she’s left with is a wine stain on her sheets
And she breaths deep
She loves the way her heart beats
It races fast, and flys
From the poison and lies running through her veins
Because she’s lost without him
She loves to stay high
Because for a bit she forgets why she’s crying
And how it feels to be dying
She forgets about his touch
Because she drinks too much
She craves the taste
And she could so easily overdose on his pretty face

Love is a drug
And she can’t stop

Sweet little lies
Senna-Mia Rahner Nov 2019
She loved you
But did you love her too?
Was it true
You would hold her nectar hips
And kiss her lips
And promise you would never leave
You’d stutter her neck like flies on a carcass
And you loved the wild girls
With green eyes
But where you just whispering sweet little lies into her ears
Scared to face your fears
You said love wasn’t true
But you stuck to her like glue
The sticky tree sap
That held you and her together
Forever?

Tell Me
Senna-Mia Rahner Apr 2019
Tell me, I want to know
Tell me about the moments that made your hands shake
Tell me about the first girl that kissed you dizzy
And the first person to make your heart break

Tell me about all the places you want to see
And about your favorite music, color, and flavor of tea

Tell me about all the special things in your life, what you want
And what you wish for in your future wife

Tell me about how you wish you had all the time
And who you want to be from strangers to she-is-mine

Tell me about the goodbyes that hurt the most
About all the achievements you are proud of
And the thing that you love to boast

Tell me
Because out of all the people who come and go
You are still the only one I wish to truly know

Your bubblegum stained knuckles
Up her dress
Your love is a mess
In tangled loves
Falling
She breaths fast
So fast that the strawberry clouds dissolve
She’s lost
In your eyes
They blind the sun
So much that it doesn’t even bother to rise
Like the birds and the bees
She loves your black current knees
And she screams
Please
Because she’s do anything for you
But would you do that for her too?

Living In The Light
Senna-Mia Rahner Apr 2019
They told you to tiptoe through the tulips
Incase you stand on a bee
And don’t sing songs of madness with the birds
Because it will hurt too much
Don’t laugh to hard
Because you could blacken your lungs with smoke of smiles
Don’t play with the stars
Because people will watch in suspicion
Don’t dance in the rain while the storm passes
Because your muddy feet will rowen the fine floor boards

But why? Why not live and...
Run as fast as you can through the tulips
And while you pass brush them with your delicate fingertips
And take off and fly with the bees
Feel the cool breeze against your face
And let it run through your hair
Visit the beautiful birds
And sing at the top of your lungs in unison
And laugh as loud as you can
And when they hear your stunning laugh
They will smile out of joy
And perhaps we will all smile
And maybe we will all die of blackening to the lungs
But it will be beautiful
Fly even higher into the darkness
And fetch the shimmering stars
And show the constellations what pleasure you get out of dancing carelessly in the rain while the storm passes
Once you are done
Silently tiptoe through your house with your little muddy feet Incase you wake your sleeping parents

And do all the things you dream of
Because they are in the darkness of the night
And you’re busy living in the light

The day after is always so hard

Waiting till the next time I can see you
The next time I can kiss you
And I hope you think about it too
Or if you loose as much sleep as I do over you

I can smell you in my sheets
In everting I do
I can’t stop thinking about you
I wonder what your doing in this hour
Or if your afraid to take a shower
Incase my sent washes away

I think about how we lay
Our body’s mangled and in twined
I think about how you look at me
As if you can see
Something that no one else can

Your kisses where so passionate and kind
As if you didn’t mind
Waiting

I felt so safe in your arms
That I would forget everything
And ever time my phone rings
I hope it’s you waiting on the end of the line
Getting ready to say that you want to be mine

Dear daddy
Senna-Mia Rahner May 2019
Dear Daddy

i missed the way you would swoop me up off the floor
and I remember when I begged you to stay just a little more

You would cradle me in your arms
And tell me that I was your precious little girl

I remember we would dance and whirl around
And I was the twinkle in your eye

I remember every night with you
And I knew you had no clue
But every time you said I love you
I would hold it close to my chest

I remember how I believed that  you where the best
I was your princess
And you where the king

I remember how you’d sing
And I’d gently fall asleep
And every time you left
I sit on the floor
By the door
And weep
But dear daddy
I should have reminded myself that your love was not mine to keep.

Goodbye
Senna-Mia Rahner Feb 2019
The stars twinkled so loudly
And you left so quietly
I didn't hear you go
Even the constellations had no clue.
And I know its wrong
But sometimes I feel low
And blue
Without you.
And you'll never know
But the stars still shine
For you.
They wish you where mine
But don't worry
I'll wait till the end of time
I'll watch a billion stars die
Just for you.
And sometimes I wonder
Out of all the goodbyes
You said
If mine was the one
That stuck in you head.

Hiding
Senna-Mia Rahner Nov 2019
Her short brown hair
Blows in the wind
Her soft skin so fair
She dances
And sings along
With short glances at her delicate fingers
With rings warped around
Hiding the truth
Concealed in those grey eyes
Because there it all was
Hiding behind that pretty smile
Love friend friends hiding sad broken

Welcome to society
Senna-Mia Rahner Feb 2019
Smile
Be polite
That's what your parents taught you right?
Conceal don't reveal
Hide your true self
And stay safe on the highest shelf
Be lifeless as a porcelain doll
And don't forget your role
Let the dust collect on you fragile, still face
Cover your true emotions with plenty of base
Force a fake smile
One that's as stubborn as plastic
And just pretend that everything is absolutely fantastic

So welcome to society
We hope you enjoy your stay.

the love for suffering
Senna-Mia Rahner Feb 2019
We'll submerge ourselves in toxic things
And let it burn
Enjoy the pain
And learn that this is what we deserve.
We'll let it burn our hearts
So we can't feel anymore
We will breathe it in
And love the taste
Enjoy the stinging in side our lungs
We will let it run through our fragile veins
And pump into our hearts
And colonize our brains.
Because we cant just dive head on into situations
We would rather suffer the consequences
Then understanding the ugly truth
We would rather believe a beautiful lie
Because the pain isn't as real when it not true.
