Run Away
You feel like you want to run away,
Every time you feel you want to take a flight
But you still can't help it but to feel that fright
Believe in yourself, taking not a sway

You feel like you want to run away,
Turning you gray and showing you what may
Something hinders and tells you not
Break free and untie that knot

French Vanilla
Scorched* from the pain
Bleeding from the vain
Why oh why do I still need you for my gain?
Still crawling back to you, though you told me not to

I cannot complain
You're the one I choose
Making you feel that you're one in a million
A shining star that I would never have found

I am in no rush
Patient with every stroke of your brush
Gentle with every touch, don't want to get burnt
Once more, with a world full of hurt

I don't want to go back
Living life in my mundane shack
Without you I cannot cope
You are my sugar that balances me on my tightrope

When I reached the end
I thought you weren't there
Like those who have left
Leaving me there without a care
This heart I share
Protect it like a bear
Vulnerable and bare

You are my coffee, my bitter-sweet honeybee

Seven Days
God created everything in Seven Days they said
A lot of things going on in His head
We cannot comprehend, anything but the tiniest thread
Seven Long Periods that I hope He did not dread

Delivered Himself through bread
We were the ones He led
From the Scriptures we have read
That for us, He bled

Why light up lanterns and trees?
For Joseph and Mary, the road to Bethlehem they shall see
Another year to celebrate another wondrous Jubilee
Been a while since I last made a poem. Still a bit rusty. Merry Christmas!

The Big Unknown
What a morning, a lot of things to do
Worrying about the things past due
Overlooking the wonderful blessings, like the beautiful glistening dew
I know it's been a rush, but don't forget about you.

A lot of things to do, eating more than what you can chew
I found an old shoe, wouldn't you have time to care about it too?
Wondering if it has a story too, like where you got your irritating flu.
*******, I have no clue.

Somebody sees when you're feeling blue,
Don't turn them down and give them a *******.

Slow down and chill on a plateau,
Have a coffee with me, there are a lot of things that we don't know
*Life is but a ride, sit back and enjoy the show.
I apologize for the expletives

Chartreuse Meadow
Lally day, lally doo, how do you do?
Beautiful lady I have seen on the meadow
I stopped to tie my shoe, I have no clue
Taking my time just to see her out my window.

Stuck and frozen when I saw you,
You just came from out of the blue
I would like to see time bend,
Stuck in the moment that would never end.
There is something I have to profess
For you I will give no less
Striking my heart, and this heart I possess
Pressing against your hard-shelled dress

This is the time to be bold
Take a risk, and you might strike gold
The path may get cold,
Take a break and get a hold
You've traveled a long road,
This is not the time to fold

Wait for it to bloom,
And soon, you will be out of the loom

Without you I cannot cope
You are my nectar that balances me on my tightrope
When I reached the end,
I realized I haven't done a sacrifice
Instead, it's love that I needed to have to shown you twice

You are more than enough for me
This is where I choose to be
Perfect beyond what I can expect,
Like a blessing that I did not select

Gift given to a sunflower and an insect

"For a moment I lost sight of all that was true"
I was afraid you’d leave me too.
You are my coffee, my bitter-sweet honeybee
A sunflower and a bee's affection for one another.
*There's always someone that can be a complement in your life.*

Ohh You!
He already loves you
He fell in love when you had no clue
He didn't come out of the blue
He waited for the right time when together you were due

She didn't see what you were up to
She could not bear the feelings and didn't know what to do
She tried but the reasons were few
She finally realized that everything was true

It was a magnificent view
It was only for two
Made possible by me and you
I can't find the words, and the title is not good enough for these running emotions

Are We The Ones?
Are we the ones, it got me thinking
Are we the ones, buried and sinking
Are we the ones, happy and singing

This generation, we are the ones
Making a difference, are we the ones?
We have a choice, we have our voice

Don't Be Blind
I don't know if you care enough to see,
A loving person whom you could be.

Hear the heart of this young man's plea
You may think he's tied you down, when in fact he's set you free.
Listen, listen from up above the tree

*Are you a fool to set this man to the sea?

The Better Me
When you're trying to be better,
When you're trying so hard to please her
Everything and every sign tells you not to deter
Are you sure you're making yourself better?

Would she complete you if you were together?
Look at the mirror, what do you prefer?
A lot of things that you should consider
Know yourself, you might end up in a blunder

You believed everything wasn't a squander
Giving you mixed signs which left you to wonder
You want to approach her, but too afraid to confer
Lost opportunity, unspoken thoughts that makes you ponder

Thinking this might be over,
Trying your luck on a four-leaf clover
Taking a chance as jumping on the cliffs of Dover
Is it over?

When you're trying to be better,
Are you miserable and bitter?
When the lights are on, and they start to flicker
Don't be a ******* quitter

When you're trying to be better,
People mock you like litter
You don't mind it, you're not a hitter

Hard not to think about it at the back of your head
Bring yourself to your own happy shed

What did I do wrong?
*My head is eating me up like thinking of a long lost song

Bliss of Hope
Don't dwell on the past, say I
Plan ahead and look forward into the future,
Learn the ways and have a keen eye
Beautiful moments, taken with a picture

But do not forget that the present is what we live for
All that matters is that we live through the downpour

We Would Never Know
Maybe* we are not bounded by the Bars of Prison,
But maybe we are bounded by the Lies of a Person

Maybe we Believed,
But maybe we were Deceived

The fact that I felt is the truth that I showed
You may not be perfect, but you are still gold
You may not see, but something I can prove
When I miss a beat, you put me back in the groove

Maybe we do not seek it,
But maybe we are waiting

Maybe we denied,
But maybe we were destined

Everyday feels like a retreat
With you, everyone we can beat
With you, adventures we greet
With you, my life is complete

*Unless we try, We Would Never Know

Undeserving
How did some people deserve my love when I can't even be reciprocated by half of what I've done?

Unconditional love you say? Abuse I call it. Taken for granted, too comfortable to notice. I know what I deserve, even if you say I just have to read you better, and read between the lines, but why can't you just ******* say what you have to say, and do what you have to ******* do? What are you so afraid and hesitant about?

Stop wasting time, stop prolonging the ******* and make a decision. Stick by it, live by it.

I'm not always expecting for reciprocation, but a little appreciation and acknowledgement surely would help me feel better doing all of these things.

You just can't always be on the receiving end of things, you also have to give. Treat others how you want to be treated. Respect if you want to be respected. It's a system that you're not exempt from. Stop your foolish double standards and hypocrisy.

I tried to understand your logic and see everything in your perspective, but I still can't comprehend. You've turned me into something I hated. You've pushed me away far enough to not see your relevance in my life anymore.
