‪I hope he closes his eyes when he kisses you. Feel the magic in your lips and gallop in spark with every breath you make.‬

‪I hope he tells you goodnight. Ask how your day was and not let you sleep knowing you feel unwanted.‬

‪I hope he checks on you when you are alone. When you feel lonely and when you feel no one is around to give you warmth.‬

‪I hope he wipes your tears away. Choose you without dividing your good parts and your ugly ones. Choose you every single day.‬

‪I hope he appreciates you. The kind of person that you are. Because you are more than enough.‬
‪I hope he knows how to listen. When you are in a bad mood and would just like to rant. Lend an ear and assure you everything will be all right.‬

‪I hope he makes time for you. Put an effort to include you in his list of priorities. That he would actually go out of his way just to spend a moment with you and make sure you’re fine.‬

Soft wind from your lungs
Blown by your mouth
Dispersing to my ears
As your words left me in tears

Like melodic bird songs
Full of truth, some I doubt
But then I keep believing
Such words of yours are deceiving

You whisper promises
Like nobody could
Promises I never heard before
Promises my heart constantly adore

Suddenly, it stops
Like a balloon my heart pops

Your whisper promises killed me
No, not me, maybe my soul
You've made a total ignore
Of those whisper promises you can't keep
And here I am, hugging my pillow to weep.

Brain says, I don't love you.
Heart says, I do.

Why is it
that we control others with our tears?
        Why do we control our tears for others?

is it growing up?
        I wanna know why

The words you said to me
couldn't set me free.

I can still remember vividly
How you came into my life
Intimidating, mysterious and deep.
Now,
I just want to dive deeper into you.

You're the one I want to stand beside me,
as we view the horizon beyond.
You're the one I want to sit with me,
in the streets,
talking about,
with sense and without.

You're the one I want to be,
my shoulder in my darkest and brightest moments.
You're the one I want to kiss my hand under the stars.
You're the one I wanna argue with, fight with
and cuddle with, in the coldest of nights.

And that's the time
I've realized
that you are not
as good as poetry
that you are not
the one for me.
