Now
You see me
Now you don’t
I hide behind barriers
I draw lines
And I don’t cross them
My walls are high
My mirrors they are confusing
The smoke it’s thick
And I
I am scared to let anyone in
There is a silence in nature
The mutual law
That we have disrupted
Now chaos reigns
The rain desires nothing but begins nonetheless.
One drop falls, alone at first, followed
by another and another, until
the neighborhood windows weep.

Across the street, her husband turns
his palm to the sky, steps into the storm.
His black umbrella blinks awake,
like the hole he creeps through
when his wife is sleeping, when
the window is open and the sidewalk is dry.

It can’t be helped.

It desires nothing,
but the rain, with
a million hands,
ravages everything.
In a world full of busybodies
I find myself alone
With you
My eyes
Locked on you

There is nothing else
There never has been

The world melts away when I’m in your arms
I’m untouchable
Invincible

You make me strong
There is something I wish to write about
Too much of everything that I feel
The something that slipped away
Entangled in the shackles of everything

Constant - On the go
Wish I could take it slow
Busy - Is Happy I know

Hours , they are limited
Jobs too many
Mastering one , never ever intend

But ,
There is something that I wish to write
About , Everything
Yet ,
Nothing is what I Write

Imperfection is the place where I truly belong
Happily ,
Until the end
I shall  sing this song
Was
Without asking for it
I gave you the key
An item you never used
An item I gave willingly
To welcome you in
I swung the door open
Making home vulnerable to thieves
So much was lost and stolen
None of which were taken by you
But still you robbed me clean
In a way you didn't know
You didn't even step within
So, I changed the lock
Even added a chain
Finally closing the door
The stolen, replaced and regained
The house was safe and secure
And valuable once more
Everything was perfectly in order
Then, you came knocking at the door
