Anna Apr 2019
A storm brews inside of her.
Winds of the past ruffle her hair.
Waves of darkness crash in her eyes.
Thunder echos as her heart beats.
Lighting flashes when she breaths.

She is power.
She is a force.
She is uncontrollable.
She is beautiful.
She is unique.

But all of that power,
all of that force.
Is it to much?
Can she bear the burden?

She falls.
The weight of it too much to withstand.
She breaths.
She stands,
and she lets the world know that the worst is yet to come.
Let the world know you are a force to be reckoned with and that you wont back down.

I was bound to be the only ocean
too deep for you to love.
And my waves are to harsh for you to see my Beauty.

what the guy who made plastic
would think today
if he saw what we did
to our oceans' waves

You were the ocean
And I, a ship
Gliding your waves
As my finger tips
Lazily graze at your surface-
Skin.
Our two bodies-
Of water and of flesh-
In harmony with the moon,
Pulling us with her tides
And we abide
So long as we’re synchronized.
Before the storm

waves are like people
no two are alike
yet they all end up doing the same thing
like the one before it
and the one after
at their own pace
they’ll wait
until the perfect time
that one that just feels right
but when it comes
the beach is different
tastes have changed
because the trends have too

trickles and drops
she dances
listen closely to the rhythm as she flows
come closer she offers soothing comfort
so above as below
she is enchanted by the moon

it’s beautiful, really.
the manner which
wind creates waves
that reshape the earth
beneath the ocean.

the earth is shattering
below our feet
and we’re moving too
quickly to feel it.
stand still.
new land is forming.

Like a young child sitting on a beach
Wondering why the sea takes away the wave
Just when they touch her feet
The ocean seems to come calling for a claim

Is it what the moon does too?
Taking away the moonlight some days
What about the summer
Shooing snow flakes away?
Like they belong to the winter
And spring makes the flowers sway
Roses Thorns Apr 2019
Taken aback
By the receding depths,
Gazing into the shimmering sea.
Wondering,
How far will i go,
Before i fall?
