Each morning the same question,
the same sickly sweet knot in my tummy.

How long now?
Rockie May 2015
I've tasted life
I've tasted death
I've tasted hate beyond all control
I've tasted greatness
I've tasted love from friends
I've tasted honey beyond earthly sweetness
I've tasted pain
I've tasted ungodly jealousy
*I've tasted.

Our love is a living legend,
Of our story there is no end,
We together will make a life.

I'll sure be a good husband,
And the most loyal partner,
She'll make the best wife..

As it started centuries ago,
Ah, the yolk is mature now,
The egg of our relationship...

Not hollow - it's just sturdy,
Of its sweets we're worthy,
It's the Easter of our love..

We both relish its flavour,
We've that rich exclusivity,
Our world of love we live in.

I Chew...Chew...Chew
Keep Focus On My Gum
I Chew...Chew...Chew
Don't Want To Bite My Tongue

Can't Walk and Chew
All At The Same Time
I Chew...Chew...Chew
The Sweetness Its All Mine
I've bitten my tongue many times when chewing gum...lol :)

I'm in Greece. The sun light streamed like tears
upon the feeble trees that gnarled onto rivers here.
Nearby the rose laid slightly on this grass and sidewalk ,

I met you, Maria

here.

So I think of you slightly,
everyday, and remember.

The black onyx rock houses, and the dinner we said hello,
the wet blue jacket covered you, as much as my compliments.
The thoughts of your smile, and the subtle game and glow,
your heart flashed near mine and I do verily lament.

For see, you were quite perfect, refined, wise, yet lovely,
and the little emotion of memories, you held me so free.
Even in my brokenness, you carried me so kindly and softly.
The spirit is silver, yet I withheld my heart from you.

So our heart grew broken like buildings
under fire,

I miss you.

I remember you so kindly, the small talk, the subtle smiles.
Like a cathedral of glass, I hold you in my memories and pray for seven heavenly angels to cover you, heal you, remember you.

In the shadows between the red, gold, yellow, and grace

Like the rose my prayers shelter you Maria,
by my longing hope and with the beauty of memories.

So that we both will sing a new song and finally let go.
7th poem I created here. Enjoy!
Body aches,
muscles pull.
Feeling empty,
never full.

Mind races,
thoughts fly.
Tears falling,
hearts soaring high.

Caught in a moment,
lost in time.
Addicted to it a feeling,
a temporary high.

You're on top of the world,
then lower than your feet.
Feel like a millionaire,
but lose everything in a heartbeat.

Up and Down,
round and round.
Never being able
to find solid ground.

Aching for freedom,
but a slave to the rush.
Screaming in anguish
at the power of your lust.

It's hard to break free
when the high is so sweet.
But be careful to find it
for you may lose your feet.
Some addictions are too sweet to let go of.

Where is joy?
In that flower.
Can you climb inside with me?
Where is sweetness?
In the nectar,
carried far by bees.
For they know what we don't
that joy and sweetness must be spread
and life doesn't give the right
to hold it all,
all the time.
Don't stop the bees.
They'll come again,
if you wait.
In life is not happiness seasonal?

This, this garden I made you, the garden of flowers,
I hope you might find strength through them.
On the right, the bees work to find it's honey,
and the daffodils on the left are still so blue.
The lilies by the small creek, and the rows of many flowers
stand in every color. The green-leafed willow I planted
holds them underneath the red sky.

My heart fades, my strength fails,
but your soul, like this, is a garden ever-beautiful.

Your lips are apple blossoms, and your hair falls like the breeze
of the morning.  Your kindness, like a hot shower
after a full day of work, you are so sweet, kind.
You take care of the weak, and do all that is good.
Like a mysterious tree in the garden,
                             You stand beautifully.

Now many things stretch for mystery and desire in this world,
but my bride, my bride, my beautiful bride, you set them all free.
My second poem, Enjoy! Encourage hearts and  comments, goal is 200. Can you contribute to my goal?

Across the room I watched as he stroked her hair
The gentlest of fingers brushed her face
From his gray eyes he poured love into her pools of sage
The sweetness touched me as I am sure it touched her
And I watched him, in that moment, be a man
The man I had hoped he'd become
With a full heart I turned away
Proud of who he is, who he has always been
Hoping, that in some small way, I taught him well
As I watched their hearts soar
I walked away letting him love her

bittersweet and beautiful
I see a speck of sugar,
One sparkling crystal
Holding the sky, stars and the earth
Here on my palm.
I can not send it to you
But I pick it on the tip of my tongue
To share with you all
The sweetness.
