The cherub and her
balloons waited,
patiently,
For her companion,
The sun.
He rises roaring
with laughter,
from the east.

They hold hands,
and frolic in merry,
he fills her eyes
with the sunshine of divine.
As time ticks,
They hop to the beat,
of her heart,
to the west.

Where she bids him
farewell,
To the higher beyond
he goes,
as she, shares
her sunshine,
with the ghouls
among her.
And like that, she acquainted the ghouls void of warmth the sunshine amidst their wary cold existence.

sun in the creases of the hand
white roses withered
vengeance of shades and misery
vendetta-machinegun

israeli uzis and sand
a child's grin is the big fire
in the iris of the lion; right?
the lion is a dead radio
Today is a good day.

she is sunshine
with freckles like a sunflower,
and eyes like leaves,
sweetening my day like sugar.
she keeps me growing.
like a plant...
something like that

I felt awkward accepting your love at first.
I didn’t quite know how to handle it nor what to do with it.
It was more than the little kernels I normally got.

So, I let you love me.
Like letting in rays of sunshine
Warm my insides.

How could I ignore a love so pure?
Who am I to be picky when I shall die in a car crash any day now?
I’ve shied away from loving long enough.

If I can’t stop the sun shining, then I won’t stop you loving me.

It’s a nice day.
What can I say?
With friends to love
And sunshine above,
I hope everyone is as happy as me.

The Light now diminished,
Time of day turned to dusk.
Dark days ahead,
Crying by myself.

I’ve lost my sunlight,
To the moon among the stars,
She stole that light,
That made my day bright.

All is lost but darkness,
The void in my heart.
Pitch black is the core,
Where the light doesn’t shine anymore.

I deserve the light,
For years I’ve spent in darkness.
The light that gave me life,
New horizons to look upon.

Come back to me now,
Shine on me with your golden glow.
Pull me out from here,
This dark trench in life.
It's this constant feeling of want and the recurring ignorance by the people who act they dont see it. It's stolen light that i deserve.

Gentle rain storms heighten
the scent of lilac bushes lining the fence
anticipating perennials
lively from the dampness and the sun
when days stay dry
carrying a bucket of water in one hand
walking barefoot to hydrate them
meanwhile
sunshine fruits
are being morphed into juice
behind the silk curtains
I see the wrinkled hands
firmly holding fruit peels
covered in shiny liquid
rays focus on her hands just right
this view
dripping
in citrine shades.

I know you are always
Shining like a rainbow
A bridge for those
Who are passing by
To climb upstairs of life
Far away there is a sunshine
As my aspiration
I may not reach you
But I can look up and try
To shine like you
Believing in you
