Splashes of color

makes our eyes explore,

Searching and searching

for so much more.

Splish Splash but it is simply more than that
Water cascades down the side of the dam
Not only does this take away your breath
But also the water that reeks of fish

As I run my hand through this cold water,
I realize one thing
Even though the water is calm up here and down there
There is still that rough patch where everything can just go down

Life is just like a waterfall
Even when going down
It is still a beautiful sight

Nothing will EVER take this moment away
Nothing will EVER ruin this for me
This moment is mine
And mine alone.

Splish, Splash
watch us dash.
Jump up come down
Goodbye frown
Freckled clothes of wet
No Sun don't come yet!
Rain, rain, come again
Refill my playground

There is always a splash of color
In a room full of gray
a stream of sound
In a quiet room.
Nothing is one thing
and always isn’t a promise
Thank you
For being that color.

Sunsets every eve
Sunrises every morn
Day splashes light in dark
Seeds peep out in hurry
Birds tweet in joy-full song
Departure needs forgiveness
Arrival bows in norm
O’ my Lord!
Bless me

My dear mother passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017. May Allah (God) bless her with Jannah. Amen!

when its the monsoon season,
and it rains every other day
your memories dribble down
like rain drops on a window pane
as there is no way out
they pool in the recesses of heart
like rain water pools when there is no drain,
it is then, when all i want is to be a kid again
to jump in that pool
and let the memories splash and splatter
creating a beautiful moment
worthy of living !!
Everyone has secrets
But what I'll being doing to you can't be a secret for one
But a secret for two
Let your paint splash onto mine
Let it mix
Were looking for a quick fix
But it won't always be that way
But I'll let you be distracted
By the way
I take you over
Close your eyes and let me do my job
Something you should of been getting
But you didn't before
Its you're lucky day
Cause you'll be served by me

Headlights dimmed by sheets of rain
Driving in this is just not sane
Water stands on pavement like glass
Tries slicing through with a splash
Hydroplane.....a tree is hit
Maybe they'll think it was an accident

the ache for home lives in all of us,
the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.

here lies an unexplored current-
in its motion is a stillness;
in its havoc is a calmness.
it is nothing, it will always be bursting with its nothingness.

a child comes; stomps on the shallow waters,
feeling the striking cold water against his skin;
the fiery sun searing his back.
what do i feel, what do i feel?

emptiness goes unrecognised,
and the balance is created from within.
splish, splash
tune me out as i touch you, and take a part of you with me

the child rolls in the sand-
pressing the damp handfuls onto his body.
he tricks himself into believing that he belongs somewhere-
that he belongs here-
clearing up his mind-
as he tries to become one with the ocean-
as each handful of sand
teaches him that his home is inside him.

the ache for home lives in all of us,
the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.

I learned today to ask for help, when I'm in pain.
You learned this too.
So, then why when I asked you for help you didn't notice the tears falling from my eyes?
The blood running from my arms?
Am I that invisible, or can you just not tell?
Please help me.
I...I need help really bad...
I'm balling.
My eyes are red and burning.
My arm is sore and red. Stained.
My hear feels like it's being smashed.
I can't even look at you.
Please help me.
It hurts so much.
Not being able to tell anyone.
Why?
Why can't you see?!
Help! Help! Help...
I...guess...it's over....
