The point of writing
is to hold one's heart
in the center of your pages.

The heart either belongs to the Author
or the hopeless romantics reading it.

You might ask why I write.
I might not give an answer.
But the reason for this silence,
is due to the lack of reasoning.

I have no reason to do anything
yet day after day
I find myself scribbling
as if my pencil has a mind of its own
and it will not stop until
I am drained of all feeling.

Then It repeats.

Never ask me why I do this.
I don’t have an answer.
I never will.

Rambunctious thoughts, undeserving of birth,
Blotted onto the screen,
Uncontrollably checking scarce notifications,
He is not worth my impatient routine.

Will not let you implant in my head
Totally broken-up yet well-meant perspectives,
I wrote a letter but lacked the courage
To read with proper affective.

All I need is opportunity,
Inside me feelings brew and fester,
Mind is slowly poisoned,
I felt obsession pester.

Find reasons in overanalyzed words,
Left with echoes of the past,
Wolves begin to howl regretfully,
Our feral emotions somehow amassed.
Critique always welcomed

What I feel for you
is uncomplicated.
I love you.
No buts.
No ifs.
No reasons.
No matter how hard I try to look for reasons why I love, I can't find any. It seems like what I feel is free flowing. And I like how it turned out.

The first measures of your favorite song coming on the radio
The lurch your stomach gives when you go too high on a swing
Dancing in the rain, and splashing in the puddles
The relief in flopping yourself down on your bed after a hard day
Happy dreams
The moment you realize there is one more cookie in the box
Your favorite outfit
Hugs from loved ones
Discovering beautiful shells on the beach
Waking up and realizing you still have a couple hours to sleep
The joy of saying, “I love you”
The joy of hearing it back
Lazy Sunday afternoons
Happy birthday wishes
Deep, meaningful conversations with friends
Little children running in the sun, enjoying life
Helping a classmate with homework
Reconnecting with old friends
The awe you feel watching a sunset
Raindrop races on windows
That grin you give your friend across the room when the teacher says, “pick a partner”
Hot showers after a good game
Stuffed animals that don't mind being squeezed and cried on
The tears and hugs of making up
Realizing the moment you fall in love
The congregation passionately singing your favorite hymn
Spreading God's Word
Puppies and kittens
That text from the right person at the right time
Surprising your friends with little gifts
The smell of new books
The smell of old books
Capturing that perfect picture
Your unknown potential
God's love

May be
Not this time
But certainly

Someday I will write (you will read)
Something
Close to your life
Closer to your dream
That gets connected
Trying to find the reason
For this,
You will make enough time
To read it, silently
Over, and once again

Somewhere in between
Some lines, or just some words
Which moves you
Somewhere,
Past or/and future
Discovering your soul
Holding your beats
With deep breathes

Someday
You will believe in
I wish,
I will,
I hope
Highlighting all those words
For future reference
If not today
But tomorrow

Even for now
It seems far away
Genre: Experimental
Theme: Writing is being.

When you see her
She looks perfectly fine
Look closely into her eyes
You'll see a hundred reasons
No, a million reasons
That you should have stayed.

I couldn’t possibly die today
I haven’t given Dr. Itoh his keys back
Or read the book he told me to
I have not smelled the November sunflowers
Or gone to that concert
That plays in the beginning of October
Live reggae
I could live a little longer for that
I still owe Kevin ramen
And I still owe my sister a visit
In her hometown
Next month
To see the stars far away from city lights
I could stay another month
For the stars
And my sister
I haven’t shared my novel
Or poems
I think someone might like them
And if not, at least
Someone could understand
Where it went wrong
Someone could understand why
I drink for my happiness
And sleep for my sanity

''I love you''
is just a facetious phrase
that gave me ways
and reasons why
not to stay
and just say goodbye
to the man
who lied
and ran,
and never even tried.
He just ran away and never go back........
