He is the mystery of mysteries
She loves solving puzzles
Viseract Jun 2016
As I fumble with these pieces,
Struggling to sort it
Fit it all together,
Medicine to make it better
Treasure lost forever,
An unnamed, un-posted letter

Searching for something
A reason, a purpose
In my bed, turning
Nervousness and stomach churning

Heart burning
Mind learning
Pressing forward, experimenting
Hidden facts presenting

A purpose to live
And a purpose to die
A purpose to tell a person
Everything will be alright!

Stair-cased cascades of my life
Primed in compositions of oils
Blended on walls and artistic impressions
A touch of lies to make us believe
As we scream as high where the sky pipes
Tuning on the fabric of the universal ship
A drink and another, a mother of another
As we hear a song that sums the trance
Take me to a world far from this reality
where the pyramid extends above the puzzle
Take me to a place, escapism of the dimension
a destination where the triangle peaks and sums
Take me to a planet that is rooted in eternity
a precedence that assigns my nominated contract
Take me to a yesterday when the torrential rains fell
the replication of my mutilation and multiplication
Take me to a today, where cities are my travelled anthems
the adventure of the short-lived untamed trajectory
Take me to a tomorrow, where mystics rules in clues
It's not that I'm blaming you
It's not that I'm shaming you
I'm trying to fit the pieces in my mind,
So I could keep from framing you.

I don't know what religion is
Who or what to believe in
Hot 'n cold,
My faith changes like the seasons.

Our puzzle pieces scrambled
I swear I had it handled
Somewhere along the way,
We flew off the handle.

Landed feet first
You would've thought my feet hurt
But I slipped on gravel,
And ****** up my t-shirt

In between lives I've loved you, different parts of you each time, so now in this life we are living I've come to love you completely, without reserve, like putting all the pieces of a puzzle together, leaving me one beautiful something made with the tiny pieces of us.

Like any puzzle,
though -- overtime -- we lose the little pieces. And the whole picture that once was is now distorted.
Eventually, we leave the puzzle behind because the holes cannot be filled.
we are missing the things that used to hold us together            l.r.

He knew the importance of words
and treated life like a crossword;
taking hints and context to places
that he never knew were possible,
solving them faster than his mind could keep,
he was full of it,
and every letter got him closer
to his dreams of entitlement.

Oh you've solved it, all right,
but his genius was limited,
nothing but words on a page;
The puzzles? He'd just skimmed it,
and each box became his defeat
for his words would no longer speak.

He could only solve the same book;
shoulders up, blamed his luck
on his limited palette,
maybe he'd done better if he invested
in a thing like vocabulary.

A forgotten mission, a new edition,
blew around in his mind,
but somehow he never could manage
to find the time
to understand these riddles' complexity,
and so to this challenge, *he'd flee.
I throw so much shade at this point, I ought to be a total eclipse of the sun.

Helicopter in the air
Searching for those on the run
Holding the greenness of shattered glass
A tight embrace of the natural beauty

A rock tied to mine locks
Padlocked as I creep the stairway of life
Evolution of flames and fallacies
A sly that promises no tears

Compelled to paste the puzzle together
A locomotion of pieces to a system
Never to be afraid of who we are
United uniqueness to be the ones of a kind

Are we the loyal dogs who bark by the rivers?
Waiting for the tides to wash us away
Singing as the sun reflects beautiful ways
The tales of a long ago uncovers my soul

tragic how we go from ****** to chasm
in the hope that it would all work out but pull a spasm
bound by human error like muscles in skin
expecting to see light while abundant in sin

vivid pictures are how puzzles begin
snakes double as friends
claim they love you, find the trouble within
exploit faults in hopes that theirs come to an end
give them space to see the hate and they'll love you again
what you hate in others is a reflection of your self perception

A puzzle is easy to take apart but hard to put together
The bigger the puzzle the more frustrating it gets
And sometimes we give up on the challenge

I am a puzzle
A one thousand piece puzzle

I gave up on putting myself back together
Too many missing pieces
Too hard of a challenge
