In my oblivion I loved you
Eyes wide, I idolised you.
My boss, my king, my only.
Hold me? Do you love me now?
Do you love me now I'm on my knees howling?
I'm bowing down to you
Cause that's all I know how to do
Darling?
Do you still miss me?
Do I still make you happy like I did that day?
I'm choking on memories
Holding back months of tears
Cause I'm lonely.
You say you want me
But you don't really want me
You just want to own me.
So I stray to feel like my soul is still holy
Cause I have fought myself
For so long now do you see?
So in this endless naivety I'll keep you
But you'll never own me darling.
You'll never own me.

And before I extended my claws onto your hearth,
I dwelled within a secret passion: I brushed up on sneaking and marking the spot for my next apocalyptic arson
And yet I could never spout the rage that fuels my husk of a being onto your haven
Your abode stinks;
The reek of naïve youth and ***** lust at night
And yet I could never expunge the puny shred of mercy embedded on my aortic psyche
You win this round
For now,
my claws will try to cut the life you absorb from the air that pervades your hearth
Before they turn to fingers, before my wrath subsides in mortal disbelief of its own vulnerable
                                      humanity
I shall incite fresh fear and death inspired odes within me once again

And on a fateful humid night,
I shall let myself perspire at the sight of infant wreckage burning with fervor and life
Your abode in flames of red and azure
And if you burn,
Apologies.
I merely hope your ashes will spark the flame bright for at least a little while
Ahh...such sweltering warmth

The sweetest words escape a mouth full of lies
You think I am unaware
I see beyond the disguise
I know what love means
I know how love feels
I know the love we have
Just isn’t real

Stuck in the daydream
Of a hopeless romance
We started out perfectly
I thought it would last

The passion addicting
The *** –amazing
Your kisses breathtaking
But I was mistaken...
Your exterior perfection
The interior heartbreaking...

You are not who you say you are
My trust now abused
Drawing an ending sooner than we both knew

No more second
No more third
No more fourth and so on chance
My patience for you has now reached its max

I try to forgive
I try to forget
But you lie and you lie
Again and again
I believe you

The audacity you present
To look me in my eyes and say
I Love you
I Love...you
With a mouth full of lies

The facade of innocence long overdue
This deception now expected
Years you've perfected the craft
A true player’s form
Always sure to cover your tracts

But I was always two steps ahead of you
I had only turned a blind eye
Accepting less than deserved
Now I question why
I am finished now

No more second
No more third
No more fourth and so on Chance

Love does not lie
Love does not cheat
Love does not cause pain to extents I weep on my knees

But still I thought I loved you
I thought I needed you
I wanted you
But you are not the one for me
This love not pure
Tainted, young and naive

I too shall move on
I too shall love again
I too shall be happy and live with sustenance

Fall deeper in love than the earth’s core
Meet someone who digs deeply enough they find my broken soul
They will pick up the pieces to securely heal me
Then I will say honestly
To the love who is true
I Love you.
Sincerely
I. Love. You.

Pretty, young, dumb
Follows many cheap inspirations
Walking with an influence
influenced by others
In the right place at the right time
Just in the wrong direction

Looking for the horizon
With a vertical point of view
Suffering from escapism
A natural reality
Taking quiet steps
Down something like a stairway

Hopeful while walking
Pretty young dumb
Doesn't fall and get imprinted
With a loss of steps
With many cracks and depths
Then the pretty is gone
And it's just young and dumb

But young and dumb
Suffers from a disease called age
That captures us all
From night and day

Far less the beauty
And so far from young
Lets just hope in good faith
That you don't remain dumb
I suppose it's something we all hope

she's an active volcano
the lava she spewed destroyed many valleys
it'll take time to clear her destruction
for her to turn back into a mountain
she doesn't want to open up again believe her
but she's most likely going to
and after she realizes what she's done
she wants to sink under water and help shift continents
                she makes your bones rattle
and the blood in your veins turn hot like your grandma's gumbo
and you don't know a thing about her or when she's gonna projectile ***** her mass destruction
she's unpredictable
and that's what scares you
that's why you're drawn to her
you just know in the end she's just gonna hurt you even though it's not her intent
but she's just so breathtakingly beautiful

The Sun, He calls to me
And I go to Him with a subtle hesitation
Knowing I’ve been hurt before
(I knew that I’d been hurt before)
But still I run
And fall down before Him
And He kisses my cold white face
And I melt under His hot red heat
And He says He will make me beautiful
And I believe Him
(and I believed Him)
And the longer I stay, the harder it is to leave
He begs of me a few more minutes
And then a few more
And more
And He tells me He loves me
And I love Him back
(and I loved Him back)
And then the time comes when we both must depart
And I wave goodbye
And He tells me to come back soon
And I tell Him I will if He does
But after He is gone
It takes me some time to realize
That I am not the same
(and I am not the same)
Because He has stained me with His crimson mark
Burned me with His good intentions
Blinded by His beauty I allowed my surface to be altered
And the sting on my flesh is a familiar one
Because this is not the first time
This happens to me year after year
And I never learn
Because He looked so innocent
So enticing
         So intoxicating
And He called to me
And I could not refuse
(and I cannot refuse)
But that was the last time
(and this is the last time)

Live life like death is just an idea.
To scribble down the pros and cons of your very existence.
To love like hate is a common ancestor for all of us mortals.
To dance with feet that jump around as if they were on hot sand.
I loved life with the perverted joy of Venus' moons.
I hated death with the white hot heat of one thousand suns.
I didn't mind the cold burn of the tiled bathroom floor each morning
Or the stuffy humidity of my old car.
I just wanted life.
I just wanted warmth.
I just wanted to learn
How to: live life like death is just an idea.

I think I felt my spine break
As I clutched my heart
As if an irregular beat
Had tied nooses round my arteries
And cracked my bones apart

I choked on my gasps
I whimpered into my sheets
I bled through my sleeve
Until I passed out

It’s just another dream

Should have known better than to hope
On hollow words
Sent to and from two dead birds

I can’t believe I ******* thought
You were an end
And I was a means worth living for

How ******* naive of me?
How ******* naive
